RAWLIN.

Tomaster [3]:
"Oh how I wish I wasn't stuck on an island with no weaponry."
You Wing Jump at the Demon, hoping to distract it with flying antics. It swings one of its tentacles, and smacks you straight in the back. You drop like a stone into the ground, landing with a hard thump.
"Oww..."
Well, at least your wings feel a bit stronger... You think... it's hard to tell through all the world spinning and the pain and all.



GlowstickNinja (Jackson Winters) [5]:
"I LEAVESH FOR FIVE FREAKING SHECONDS..."
Hydrokinesis... Water, eh? You've already got a kinesis, but what the hell, let's shoot for two. Make this interesting. You focus on water, how it flows, how it moves, how it can be in any state of matter... You develop a sublime understanding of its functioning. You... think you can do this.



CaveCricket48 (Kurt D. Hopkins) [6]:
Tomaster jumps at the beast, giving everyone else the chance they need to attack it, including you. You sprint forward, then spin and slash your Light Longsword through the Demon's leg. Or at least, you try to.
When it hits, it makes a cut in the Demon's flesh, but the light is quickly dissapated, and the blade of your sword vanishes. You're left with a Light Dagger, and the Demon has a cut leg. This... may be bad.



FoiL [5]:
With a grin of anticipation, you charge for the Demon.
"This feels oddly familiar."
You also see Kurt slash at the Demon's leg, to little effect. You swing an uppercut at the Demon's torso, and you burning fist hits. The flames burst forward, washing across the Demon's skin, and dissapating. No effect.
"Ah shi-"
It rears back and kicks you, sending you barreling across the platform.



Barnox [1]:
You attempt to suck the shadows back out of the Demon, but you get no response from it. Either the Demon has fully absorbed or bonded with the shadows, or what it absorbed wasn't shadows anymore...



Amazigh [1]:
Ah. THAT horrible monster-thing. You stay right where you are, far far away from it.


dhart5000 [3]:
You try to gain Hydrokinesis mid-fall, but utterly fail. It seems someone else has already snatched it up!
You fall into the water.
Again.


Game Events:
Suddenly, the chains linking the islands vanish, and several extra thick chains explode out the rock beneath the Demon, wrapping around its huge limbs and darting back into the ground. It struggles against the chains, and when it realizes it can't get out so easily, its expression changes from one of manic joy to an annoyed panic, then to one of anger. It starts shrieking and battering its binds harder, giving it everything it has. A few of the chain links groan and ping with stress.
"Go! I know not how long I can hold the beast! End its life!"

Jackson is on a Boulder platform.
Amazigh is on the Log platform.
dhart is in the water.
FoiL, Tomaster, Kurt, Barnox, and Die are on the main platforms with the Demon.

Waiting for dhart and Foil.

Tomaster [4-2=2]:
"Damn. That thing is strong."
You then pause to cough up blood onto the ground in front of you. Your chest hurts... A lot...



GlowstickNinja (Jackson Winters) [2]:
"Birdsh Man. When Were done I needsh to talksh to you."
You then summon all the fury of your abilities to smite the horrid beast! A torrent of water rushes forth against the creature while twin fists smash into it from both sides!
Except that doesn't happen. Your powers are too weak to do that, and you're too far away to even make it that far.

CaveCricket48 (Kurt D. Hopkins) [6]:
"Alright, ugly. Try THIS!"
You run up to the Demon, still bound in its chains, and give it a flat-palmed strike as hard as you can, then solidify then energy you send into it. Surprisingly, it works. Sorta.
The creature's skin around the strike turns from matte black to a glassy obsidian color, but other than that it seems unaffected. This bastard is resilient.



FoiL [1-1=1]:
"Ow, my ribs...mmm, ribs"
You puke to the side.
"Eww, ribs..."



Barnox [2]:
You can't reach that far! Maybe if you were over near the boulder, but all the chains have retracted, there's no way over to it!



Amazigh [2]:
Geo-what now?
Oh hey, that scary monster is still there. Let's watch and make sure it doesn't eat us instead of dicking around!


dhart5000 [6]:
Dammit, nowhere to climb off... Wait, no, there is! That bastard smashed your platform, but the base is still there, and low enoguh to climb up on to! You swim over to the low rocky outcropping, and as you climb up, something bursts up out of the water behind you. You're too busy to see what the hell it was.


Game Events:"Heavenly Chains that bind the wicked, break forth from your prison and obstruct my enemy. Go forth my Bloody Chains, Go forth my Shackles of Night, Nox Noctis Cruor!"
A second set of equally thick chains burst from the ground around the Demon, reinforcing the hold on the Demon.
"Hihi Die! Heehee, that rhymed!"
"...Joy?"
"Yay, you remembered! We need to have a party!"
Next to Die, in a similar position, holding the chains steady on the Demon, stands another Die Angelus copy. This time instead of looking stuck up, she's constantly smiling and giggling, and her wings have a pink tinge to them. They also seem to be unable to stay still, as they're bobbing back and forth incessantly.
"Er, later. We kind of have a Demon here..."
"Well DUH, what do you THINK we're fighting? Marshmallows?"

Jackson is on a Boulder platform.
Amazigh is on the Log platform.
dhart is on the remains of a random platform.
FoiL, Tomaster, Kurt, Barnox, Die, and Joy are on the main platforms with the Demon.
