"Never said it was a GOOD idea.
Meant it as an easier to grasp alternative to actually casting haste. Having a construct that can haste removes the problem, but when you're lacking a sufficiently great smith for that...
Light magic's not easy to pick up. Kinetic and Pathic are significantly easier. Could be taught to existing mages, and encompasses a Haste AND Power Flow too.
*shrug*
I suppose it's better as a thought exercise than a practical tool, but eh, still a neat idea.
Can you make a Haste construct?"

Emiel: "Yup. They're real handy for speeding up work. Except you'll be burning through energy like crazy, so probably not the best use for it."

How much energy does this corrupt stone put out?

Hey, Cave, if it's not too much trouble, could you supply me with all of the Chirop honorifics? If I want to stay in character I'm going to keep using them, but I realize that I don't know a single one other than "-danae", and I don't even know exactly what that one is for, other than the fact that it applies to Koa.

Actually, a complete overview of Chirop society, social niceties, etc. would be even more helpful.

You had amnesia. Tada, already in character.

I'll see about getting something resembling a full overview sometime soonish, but don't worry about going maximum proper chirop.

Naomi: A lot, but a large portion of it wouldn't be safe to use.

You landed only a meters away from where you were originally standing. You're still just outside of Venari, the lupus city.

Quotes, man, quotes. I can't quote properly without 'dem honorifics. And it's already been established that my character remembers his social-nicety-instincts-whatever.

"I am currently in possession of a stone radiating corrupt energy. Could you make that work as a power source?"
It possible to use only the stable energy?

It possible to use only the stable energy?

Emiel: "I could, but would take a bit more work. The construct could either filter out the corrupt energy, or stabilize it for usage."

Naomi: Well, that answers it.

Thanks, Cave, and sorry if I threw a curveball at you with a sudden request for background info. :P

You create a bubble of air around the party and move forward. As you walk, your feet brush off cinders and reveal still hot embers underneath, and Feiar and Maargral yelp and jump backwards as their unprotected feet are probably burned.

Maargral: "Fire was really not the best way to go."

"Whichever you think would be more effective."

Emiel: "Stabilizing the energy would be more effective, but would require more work to create."

You practice scooting around and rotating around with kinetics. It feels a bit strange, and you think you'd be better off just manually jumping around.

The two of you reach the ironworks, and it looks more or less the same from the outside last time you were here.

You finally decide to head into Venari. Entering through the northern gate, which the guards open after a short look at you, you don't see anyone familiar in sight.

Until, you see someone that looks like a taller version of Aucupe. But, instead of blue eyes and primarily white feathers with black tips, this one has red eyes, and primarily black feathers with white tips. She's also a bit taller, about 1.5 meters.

The Aucupe-like creature walks towards you with a piece of paper in hand, and stops in front of you, somewhat nervously.

???: "A-are you Mist?"

Your party enters the sewers, the darkness almost suffocating.

"We'll need some light. Tsinthula-danae?"

Koa: "Right."

A sphere of light appears next to you, hovering over the now-visible hand of Koa. It splits into five, each one hovering over a party member.

Ahead, the tunnel splits into three paths: Forward, left, and right.

The left path is blocked with a metal grated gate, the right with what looks like piles of random debris. The forward path is unobstructed.
