You're not really sure how to force the fire to stop burning. It's no longer fueled by your energy, and it's hard to see it with the smokey air and wall of ice in the way.

So you try blindly blasting it around with air on the other side of the ice wall, but it just seems to get brighter as you feed it more oxygen. There must be a hell of a lot of wood on the other side.

Heheh. Alright, I'll take it.

To keep yourself busy, you make a miniature tornado in your hands and sprinkle it with snowflakes and water droplets. The snowflakes quickly melt into more water droplets, and when you add a bit of heat with a small burst of flame, it turns into a little whirlwind of steam.

Karina: "All done."

Looking up, you see Darla sitting on the bed-table wearing a simple white robe. Her face, arms, and legs look spotlessly clean, no blood stains or wounds, though her right arm is still pale white.

Karina: "The necklace seems to be able to generate artificial body parts that take place of missing natural parts. It was impaired from lingering outside magic, maybe from corruption, so I fixed it after I healed her wounds. She should be more than fine now, just get some sleep.
The tent to the right as you leave this one should be empty, you can get some shut-eye there.

I also wrote down some notes about the necklace if you don't mind, would be handy to reproduce and use it to strengthen our troops."

She shows you a pad of paper and quickly flips through to show you pages covered in diagrams and lines of text.

Easy... let's try...

Gathering a larger amount of water, you let it flow under you and then launch it upwards, propelling you into the air. As you halt the water's movement, your body continues flying upward from momentum, and then falling and crashing back into the ground below.

Hitting the ground isn't as jarring as you expected, and the impact should've at least given you a serious concussion.

Torrent: The armor protects you from sudden acceleration and deceleration, so feel free to throw yourself around.

You address a guard standing nearby -

"Where do you need the most help with the enemy?"

???: "We can hold the city on our own for now, but there are still corrupted running around in our sewers, keeping a large number of our forces trapped down below. If you can clear out the corrupted and free our troops, that will be enough."

Got to the necklace before I could even ask about it, too.

Karina: "I'm no master, but I've decent experience making them. A few days of tinkering and I can make something workable. Why? If you're looking for someone to make you something, there's a mage around here that's more skilled than I am, not sure if he's still alive though."

"Could you show us the quickest way into the sewers, then?"

???: "This way."

Your party follows the guard as he leads you further into the city. The buildings here are squarish and stone, with large doorways to accommodate the large lupus.

The guard stops at an empty, stone canal beside a street. A large number of guards are armed with heavy bows and crossbows, aimed at a tunnel closed off with a grate where you expect water would normally flow out of.

???: "That is the only access into the canal that isn't barricaded. When you're ready, we will open it for you."

You look back at your party: Koa, Ettiin, Rudo, and the dragon Uugram. All of them look more or less ready, except for Rudo.

Rudo: "Hey, can I get one of those crossbows?"

You could probably ask for some supplies before entering.

You exchange the air in the room with air from below, and you're relieved with a breath of fresh air as the smoke clears out. You continue to maintain the ice wall, watching as the fire burns on.

"Well ♥♥♥♥"

Maargral: "Fire was probably not the best idea."

With enough time, the fire burns through all of its fuel and extinguishes.

"It's an emergency, and we definitely need someone like that. Who is he?"

Karina: "His name is... Emiel? I think. He's a Caelum weapon smith that escaped from a chirop prison before the corruption hit, and somehow ended up on this end of the continent. He says he no longer wishes to be associated with Caelum and he's provided us with plenty of help, so we let him stay here. If you're looking for him, he should be in the central-northern district of Vranhal in a large building on the main road. Only one around there with intact windows, so shouldn't be hard to find."

While one of the guards hands a crossbow and a pouch of bolts to Rudo, another heads off and returns with a complete set of chirop armor, with harnesses and all.

The armor has a faint red-ish hue to it, and an intricate pattern of lines covers the entire surface. The helm is shaped to resemble the head of a beast that looks like a cross between a man and a lion - a manticore? At the lower back of the cuirass is a leather pouch with a metal armored plate over it for protection.

???: "During the Caelum-Daeli war, a chirop magister assaulted our city with a large attack force. We let him enter and then slayed him and his mages, and took his armor as a prize.
We no longer hold conflict with the chirop, and it seems fair to return their armor to one of their own. It is a rare example of a full suit of crafted magic armor, it will serve you well."

"Didn't expect there to be so much wood on the other side of this door."

You move the ice wall away and inspect the hallway. The floor is covered in embers and ash, but it's clear enough to walk through. The fire consumed most of the breathable air though, and you can already feel the acrid smoke wafting into the room where your party is.

"Alright. I'll probably be back. Darla, you rest easy."

You leave the tent and quickly head back to the ironworks. LucidAucupe is sitting against an outside wall and Vattii has his head through a large opened window. Tara and Atra aren't in sight, but you think you can hear her voice coming from inside the building, along with Vattii's.

After removing your old helm and greaves, you don the new armor in no time. Despite looking heavier and bulkier than regular chirop marauder armor, it doesn't feel any heavier.

A few seconds after being put on, there's a loud hum that comes from the armor, and it quiets down after a few seconds.

Koa: "Looks like it turns on by itself."

"Is everyone ready?"

The crossbow in Rudo's hands looks like a monster with a powerful looking metal bow. She cranks back a large lever that was over the weapon's bolt flight deck, and the bow draws itself and locks into place with a solid clank of machinery.

Rudo: "Hahaha, always wanted one of these. Ready!"

Everyone else gives the affirmative, and you nod towards the guards. Two of them carefully walk to the closed tunnel in the canal below with tools in hand, unbolt the metal grate, and lift the barrier out of the way.

The dark unknown of the underground stares at you, ready to swallow you whole.

You enter the ironworks through the main double doors. The inside has numerous machines powered by the water mill outside, which is powered by the canal. Tables are here and there with weapons and armor in varying states of completion, and there are a four forges in total, only one of them being used at the moment.

Vattii's head and neck are through one of the large opened windows, and is inspecting a mass of paper covering the table in the middle of the room. The paper is covered with a massive pattern of lines, being worked on by Blizzard with an ink pen, who looks back and forth between the paper and a smaller table beside him, which has the parts of a broken, black sword on top. Tara is working the forge, heating a large crucible.

None of them turn to look at you, being focused on their task at hand.
