Army testing is usually AWAY from army personnel, so your action is more METAGAME then writing, "♥♥♥♥ THAT DARK BLUR!!"

Ociamarru: The reason you don't stand a chance against the blurs is because you're supposed to progress the story by following the actual storyline where, spoiler alert, you will eventually defeat the bad guys through means I will not mention.

The point is stop dicking around like an extraordinarily thick-headed herd of sheep and get the hell out of Dodge and back to your original mission. The blurs serve as a deterrent against staying in one spot too long, if you haven't figured it out, and they will beat the living ♥♥♥♥ out of you if you mosey around the same place for oh, 60 pages or so. (Probably more, just a conservative estimate)

According to the map, Andrew and Vladimir are in the Medical Truck, and they can hear a lot of people around them, so it's a pretty safe bet to assume that NPC medics survived (after all, they wouldn't be outside during a fire fight)

Alright, just so its clear:
Vlad and Andy are in the Medic Truck
They are both seriously wounded: broken arms or internal bleeding or something.
The Medic Truck is twisted and bent and on its side.
The people inside are in the same situation as Vlad and Andy.
BJJ and Fiona are trapped and/or surrounded by rubble and debris.
Neither of them can tell what injuries they have sustained as they are both barely conscious.
Asfer is reletively unhurt.
Daniel is oblivious.
The soldiers that were at the front gate were vaporised.
Most electronics won't work because of an EMP from Advere.
Most of everyone's inventories are missing because they have lost their backpacks.
The Blurs are gone.

Are my electronics fried? Or was I protected from the EMP.
