???: "O-okay, I hear you. You can go now. I'll leave after you head off."

There's no necklace Disaster, right? Do you know any other magic weapon sets?

Naomi: There are six known disaster weapons, but I've heard rumours about a seventh. If the seventh is real, I don't think it would be a necklace. The item here doesn't feel like a disaster, anyways.

Other sets, hmm. Chaos has Lucida and Atra, Hunter has a blade, greaves, helm, and some sort of chest armor, no necklance. It's probably a weapon from a different creator. I know Blizzard worked with a lance and an axe during the War of Blades, which were not made by the creator you're familiar with.

I'm starting to remember more and more things. I remember Blizzard attacking the dragon Vattii, back during the war. There was a saboteur that had implanted an effect in a large number of weapon creator's enchantments, and that allowed the weapons to create avatars.

It's a bit blurry, but I remember the creator, Kaminus, yes. She tried to destroy all of her Disaster weapons because she feared the avatars would go out of control. Blizzard heavily opposed her, nearly killing her and Vattii.

Er, that's a bit off track, but there were many other weapon creators and weapons.

That was a little more than you asked, but oh well.

"Are you ACTUALLY going to get to safety, or are you just going to sit here and be glad that I'm gone."

???: "I'll get to safety. So safe, you won't even be able to find me if you tried, yep!"

There's a slight nervous tone to her voice.

Naomi: She completely changed mood after you said we're going to Venari, going to get Atra, and save the world. Maybe something happened in Venari?

Naomi: She's the creator of the Ultima, Chaos, Disaster, and Hunter weapons. The Disaster weapons hate her, probably because she tried to destroy them, but Blizzard really really hated her. And Torrent hated Blizzard too, for a while. I don't remember much past that, but a little more time could jog my memory. Or you could try talking to Blizzard and Torrent if you're interested.


Maybe you will later. But right now, you casually plant Whirlwind on the wooden floor and prop a leg up, causing the girl to slowly peek out from the covers.

"So, are you getting freaked by Venari, Atra, or by me?"

Her face goes back under the covers.

???: "I uh think my vision is going a bit blurry. Must be this blood loss making me like this, you know? I think I'll take a quick nap before heading off to some place safe."

She makes some fake snoring sounds for a minute or so before peeking out from under the covers, closing them again when she sees you're still there, and resumes "napping."
