Hey Cavecricket, would it be possible to get a horse to boost my horrificly bad agility?

It'll certainly enter you into the strange world of mounted*, but I don't know if your agility would help to keep you on the saddle when someone does something about it, or the horse does something.

Yup. Or you could use specialized gear. Or both.

Also waiting on Urch.

You continue walking... Towards the magic shop, you guess, while learning your new skill some more.

Erale: "I'm jealous of that plushie"

"Well you can ask the shopkeep for it but I doubt he'll give it away.
Well, we probably won't get a reward if you take it though..."

Mikoto: "That's being jealous of the Shopkeeper. It can happen after we get back, and do whatever"

The three of you (Erale + Vesh + you) stop in front of the magic shop as Jawson exits and heads past you.

You check the compass to see where it's pointing.

Right now, it seems to be spinning all over the place. Maybe because you're in a magic shop. Deciding that you'll fiddle with the thing later, you head out, passing Erale, that light-haired girl, and Vesh, and make your way to the tavern, passing another guy who you know from the tavern, but he never gave a name.

You enter the tavern and check with the bartender about checking in, and apparently it's free to sleep here. Heading up the stairs, you find that the sleeping floor appears to be inhabited by only you. There's also no privacy, so maybe that's why it's free.

And train your skill too.

You exit the tavern and stand there as Jawson heads past you and goes in, while you contemplate the possibility of a skill that would boost your luck.

You feel like you're not mentioning specific KEY WORDS FROM A TABLE OF RULES here. But you somehow manage to pull up some information.

(Prerequisites for Gambler : None)
(Prerequisites for Magic Dice : None)

- Gambler (Buff Physical) (+X LUK) (-X SP) - Increase your luck by the amount of SP spent.
- Magic Dice (Buff Magic) (+X LUK) (-X MP) - Increase your luck by the amount of MP spent.

You decide to burn MP making sparks with the skill located in your sheet, while following Mikoto.

"I'm jealous of that plushie"

Mikoto: "Well you can ask the shopkeep for it but I doubt he'll give it away.
Well, we probably won't get a reward if you take it though..."

"I'll take them. They'll make decent weight training, too."

You purchase the gear, put it on, and head out the door. You start running around town with the heavy load. It's exhausting, but you think it's making you stronger. (Level up!)

You enter the shop, holding the plushie above your head victoriously.

???: "Ah! My plushie!"

The old wizard rushes up to you and you hand him the stuffed dragon. He gives it a hug before turning to you.

???: "Thank you! Here, these are some items I recently pulled out to show another customer. You can... Each take one, I suppose. I'm in a good mood. If you don't see anything you like, just tell me what you'lre looking for and I'll see if I have it."

- Gnarled Wizard's Staff (Weight : 0.8) (Active : +3 INT)
- Ancient Tribe Quiver (Weight : 0.2) (Passive : +1 AIM) - Can carry twenty arrows, negating their weight.
- Hero's Bag (Weight : 0.3) - ???
- Hero's Boomerang (Weight : 0.3) (Active : +2 STR) - Mystical throwing item that will return to you at the end of your turn.
- Ellusion Cape (Weight : 0.1) (Passive : +5 AGI)

You pick a random bed and hit the sheets, dozing off rather quickly.

A woman is working in what looks like a clothing shop, cutting a sheet of fabric with golden shears. She seems to be humming happily while working.

You slowly wake up from your random dream. It doesn't feel like much time has pased.

You take a walk around the town, getting a feel for where everything is, while learning your new skill.

Let's see, around the center of the town seems to be where most of the shops are, like a potion shop, magical antique shop, clothing store, blacksmith, bowyer, and cobbler. There are also numerous empty stalls here and there, probably used to hold food in the morning when the market would be running.

The town hall is in the dead center of town, a large two-story building made of stone.

Most of the cottages are on the outer sides of town, and farms after the cottages.

You end your tour of the town back at the tavern entrance, which is close to the center.

" What's with the bag? Something special about it? "

???: "There's a legend that that bag was once used by a hero long ago. He had dropped the bag in a lake, and the bag sank to the bottom. The water level in the lake slowly started lowering until the lake completely dried up, and the bag was on the bottom of the lake bed, open side up. When the hero went to retrieve his bag, he turned it upside down and the entire contents of the lake, water and fish and all, poured out and refilled the lake."

The bag looks like an average leather bag. However, when you look inside, it's pitch black. You can't see the bottom or sides.
