Both NTs manage to hit their targets, but the MAU fails to score any hits at all.

You unload another barrage of fire at the northern NT, but once again fail to score any hits, you're getting quite frustrated at how unreliable artillery is without a dedicated targeting computer.

Description: A veteran warrior with a temper, got sick of fighting for the companies and went rogue. Although he has a short fuse the man is still far more intelligent than he looks
Ability: Jet charge [+2 to the first attack made against an enemy with the lance]
Making you decision you engage your boosters to full and start flying towards the Northern NT, and give it a pair of missiles while you're at it which blow off a decent amount of its armour.

Description: A broad of build but rather short figure with a magnificent red beard. Doesn't talk much.
You keep charging forwards, shrugging off the two rifle rounds that impact and chip off extremely minor chunks of armour.

Description: A light-skinned skinny 26 year-old man who used to work in an engineering bay. He doesn't say much, and is described as being "in the zone" when working.
Ability: Zen [+2 Accuracy, -2 Movement/Evasion] [2 Turn Duration, 3 Turn Cooldown [after end duration]]
You dash backwards with perfect timing, making the missiles fired by the MAU slam into the ground a good distance short of you, thankfully it misses with its cannon again the shot going significantly wide.
Mech: SnipehawkArcalane [15+1-1+1=16] [19] [1=1] [1]> Head 'northwest' at high speed and maintain evasive movement profile (transverse velocity, woo!), whilst throwing some more missiles at the nearest NT.Pilot Name: Irvine Callahan
Description: A lanky, tanned American pilot who lost his right eye before joining the mercs. It doesn't seem to have negatively affected his piloting skills. Calm and confident.
Ability: Evasion Focus [Scaling/variable skill: Evasion Focus (3) = +3 evasion, -3 accuracy. Evasion Focus (5) = +5 evasion, -5 accuracy. Etc.]
Attempting to keep evasive you rush sideways compared to the NTs perspective, but you're not quite close enough for it to be effective and a Rifle round slams into your front left leg. Your missiles on the other hand prove much more sucessful thna your dodging, two of them hitting it and blowing off its remaining frontal armour, and then dealing some damage to its structure.

North Rifle NT: significant torso damage.
South Rifle NT: minor torso damage.
Just a reminder, you can fire as many weapons at once as you want, there are slight negative modifiers if you combine different types of weapon [missiles don't cause [extra] negatives though]
Also you can fire on multiple targets in a single turn, but this will almost undoubtedly cause negative modifiers, which increase the further apart you two [or more] targets are.
