So, with a constant blast of air, you propel the ice float in one of the two directions possible to go, just because it seems like it's the better option. Or something.

Isaac: "Now that we have time, why don't you tell us about what happened, and about yourself, Mr. Maargral."

Maargral: "Well, it started when those things appeared. They looked like deformed humans and chirop and their aura was vile to smell. They attacked our town and our guards fended them off, but the guards turned mad, and became like them, and it spread around, more and more lupus turning mad as if it was the insanity disease spreading through the air.
Everyone tried to shut themselves in, but without hunters, we quickly ran out of food, and the few who did venture out to bring back food were turned from meat taken from tainted prey.

The meat in the smokehouse was preserved for some time, before this disaster, I suppose someone locked up the place and wanted to keep it to themself.

About myself, I am nothing special. A pup almost to the age of a wolf, nothing but a part of the pack."

You lead the party out of the city, following the large river nearby as you head south-west on foot. Before long, your party hears the sounds of combat, and not too far off, it looks like large wolf-like creatures are finishing off the remnants of corrupted, the non-reptilian variant.

They haven't noticed your group yet, so you can either try to take a detour around them, fight your way through, or see if they'll just leave you alone.

Naomi: I don't like Lupus. Magic-sniffing hounds, we're like a carcass sitting here for vultures. They'll notice us soon enough if we stand around.

You feel your arm move to hold the glaive outward. The armor pieces covering your body float off, suspended in what looks like levitating water, and re-form the suit standing beside you, grasping the glaive and pulling it out of your hands.

A pair of glowing blue eyes appear in the darkness of the helm, and soon a pale-white face follows after.

Soon enough, you hear the sound of combat, and not too far off in the distance, you can make out lupus fighting a dwindling corrupted force.

Ettiin doesn't seem too interested, maybe she's used to Blizzard doing the avatar forming shenanigans already.

With a flick of your wrist, a small fire lights in Isaac's hair, and you extinguish it when he lets out a startled yelp.

"I heard that."

It's then that the ice float makes a sudden stop, and everyone on board scrabbles to grab onto something to keep from sliding off. The float struck debris in the water, and looking up, there's a dark opening in the ceiling of the tunnel.

Maargral: "I guess that's the end of our relaxing river raft ride?"

You and Kyros take the lead of the party and cautiously approach the lupus. They quickly finish off the corrupted with savage tearing, and then seem to instantly calm down, sniffing the air before looking in your direction, heads tilted curiously. Their movements appear jerky, and something seems... Off.

Your hands tighten around Whirlwind, but you feel the flow of energy in it weaken slightly.

Naomi: Watch it. Make an offensive gesture and they'll be on us in less than a second. We won't be getting help from them.

You and John (the halberd man) take the lead and cautiously approach the wolf-like creatures as they savagely finish off the rest of the corrupted.

The wolves take notice of your party, and glance in your direction. Their movements appear almost jerky, and the way they inquisitively tilt their heads at you seems, well, strange.

Blizzard slowly draws his rapier in his right hand, and his ice sword in the other, a smooth, silky motion, but other than that remains in a non aggressive stance.
