Vattii: "My master's most powerful creations are the Ultima, Chaos, Disaster, and Hunter weapons. The blade you have, Talon, is one of the Hunters.

The white blade that the white armored creature has -"

He gestures towards that short white armored chirop-shaped-but-not-a-chirop creature.

Vattii: "- is Lucida, one of the Chaos weapons. The glaive and the halberd that these humans have are Torrent and Whirlwind, two of the Disaster weapons.

The Ultima's weapon name, it escapes me, but there is only one weapon of its series, so most simply call it 'Ultima'. It has the combined strength of the two Chaos weapons, or, the combined strength of six Disaster weapons.

During the War of Blades, the Disaster weapons, along with many other magic weapons created by my master and others, were held by different nations and were used to annihilate each other. The Ultima weapon was created to be strong enough to stop every other weapon individually and end the war, which it did.

The problem, is that the enchantments used to embue the weapons with their power was tampered with, allowing the weapons to copy someone's mind and use it, turning it into a being capable of thought. The Ultima weapon was created before the modifications were discovered.

And I'm sure you understand how that connects with the weapon acting on its own."
