It isn't stupid. :(

Sandwiches heal 2 each, costing 100.
We have 325 heph.
We're missing 6 gear teeth.

How convenient.

Buy three sammiches.
Eat.

Clockwork Sprite + eye.

Go up that staircase in the Trial Fortress.

You buy three Ham Sammiches, and promptly eat them. You cure 6 Gear Teeth!

MM: "That was delicious!"

SK: "I know!"

You leave the Stop n' Shop.

Image
You enter Trial Fortress area 1. You also open your inventory and check whats there.

Image
You proceed forward and encounter a triathlon of enemies.

You are suddenly reminded of something your master told you about:

"Each and every Item Crafter is guided by a selective group of spirits, haunting what they know as a "Forum." They see everything you see, and even more. Sometimes, the grind of defeating enemies is simply not enjoyable to them, and then they can tell you to activate your "GrindFace." This usually involves things like: "Grindface until you are in Trial Fortress 2" or "Grindface until you have cleared the dungeon." When and if your health goes low from grindfacing, you will instinctively run away from an enemy. Usually, you will also stop Grindface if you encounter a new type of enemy."

...Hmmm. So according to this, you can choose to "Grindface" these enemies, to skip the action and just show the results.

I still say retreating from TF and making John the Cybernetic Atomizer would make your battles a lot easier...

Level Up!

You are now Level 3!

You grind them enemies to a pulp, get 3 Armling Alloys, 1 Armling eye and a Bent Clockwork Component.

The enemies gave you 5 damage, but you regenerated them when you leveled up!

Your Level Up gave you two extra Gear Teeth! You now have 10 GT!

Your grindface is kinda horrible, but thats all part of the grindface ability. So, continue?

Also guys I figured we get healed upon leveling up and that six teeth would get us through. Although not with GRINDFAEC on apparently.

Grindface more, until you can make/have another perfect Clockwork Gear or whatever it is. Then upgrade our clocky friend with the perfect gear.

I nominate we name our Clock Sprite Pendulum!
