> You head back to the cave entrance after a bit of navigational trouble, and with the water you collected along the way (about a bucket's worth), you begin trying to smash apart the large boulders into rubble while Aucupe digs away with a giant hard-light shovel.

The entrance is blocked by a lot of rubble, and you might be at this for a while.

Conditions :
- Torrential Armor (+4 Casting/Attacks)

(Nighthawk)
Kyros Deiimor
[ 3 + (Strength: + 2 + 2 + 2 - 2) + (Accuracy/Block: +2 + 2 + 2) + (Movement/Evasion: + 2 + 2) ] = 7 (Strength), 9 (Accuracy/Block), 7 (Move/Evade)
> Dashing inbetween the two Armored Drakes, you strike at them at the same time, killing the one on your right with Talon and barely scratching the one on your left with your greatsword.

Heading into the mob to the North east, you cut down a Caster and a Ripper, and then go into a frenzy dodging and blocking all of the giant claw swings coming your way.

Now surrounded, you don't have any room to evade the glowing pinkish energy bolts dropping down above, but they face and vanish before reaching your position. A fireball flares into life in the watch tower's gate, revealing two chirop standing there, before the flame soars outward and into a mob of drakes.

> Power Flow to legs, kick off the ground and get into the air. Drop back down on top of another drake, dispatch it with Talon and keep fighting.
Start focusing on using Talon for offense and my other sword for defense, but of course use both defensively if I really need to block.

Isaac: "Maargral, you know this place better than us. Any idea where to go?"

Maargral: "The chief's home in the center of the city is as strong as a fort, it must be safe from the scaled beasts."

The four of you run towards the heart of the city as crazed lupus run towards the smokehouse, too eager to inspect the blaze and smell of meat to pay you any mind.

As you travel deeper into the town, you see a larger, cylindrical building made of stone, looking like a very short but wide watch tower.

Conditions :

You turn around, and see Vattii poke his head out from behind several trees.

Vattii: "I would say that the best course of action is for you six to head back to the city, inform them of my intentions, and signal to me when I may arrive without causing alarm."

Conditions :
- Whirlwind Armor (+2 Physical Actions, +1 Movement/Dodging)
-- (Energy: 38/50)




(Roast Veg)
Paradox Mist

> You turn around to see John walking out of the shadow of the trees.

John: "Hey guys. Good news. I made friends with that dragon."

Aucupe: "Yay."

"What do we do now then? Back to town or through the hills?"

John: "Somehow I doubt a giant armored dragon would just be welcomed with open arms. I have no idea though, let's ask him."

John turns around, and you see the shining metal of the dragon's head poking up from the trees. A low, booming voice erupts from the dragon's maw, its jaw barely moving as the voice reaches your ears.

???: "I would say that the best course of action is for you six to head back to the city, inform them of my intentions, and signal to me when I may arrive without causing alarm."

Conditions :
- Torrential Armor (+4 Casting/Attacks)
-- (Energy: 32/50)




(Nighthawk)
Kyros Deiimor
[ 2 + (Strength: + 2 + 2 + 2 - 2) + (Accuracy/Block: +2 + 2 + 2) + (Movement/Evasion: + 2 + 2) ] = 6 (Strength), 8 (Accuracy/Block), 6 (Move/Evade)
> Kinetically powering your legs, you leap up into the air and drop back down onto a ripper drake, shoving Talon into the back of its neck.

Jumping off of the dead drake, you slice through an armored drake's head with Talon, batter away a swipe from another armored one with your greatsword, and dispatch another ripper with a deep slash through its shoulder and torso.

The remaing drakes near you seem to back off, and the others around the tower pull into what looks like battle formations.

All appear to be wary of you, however, making no more approaches. Above, a roar sounds out, followed by shrieking and loud energetic cracks. Looking up, a chirop and a green dragon drive away the flying drakes overhead, clearing the skies of the menace.

Through the metal portcullis, you can see that numerous buildings all around the city are on fire, and dead and wounded are lying here and there. The portcullis raises, and a robed man at the top of the wall yells at the three of you to get inside.
