Couldn't Toko's clones also make clones of themselves? You know, eternally?

:O

Random thing came up and my day from 5 o'clock to 11 o'clock became busy. Ironically, that was the time period in which I would have been not-busy.

Bad luck, I guess.

So rawling tomorrow.

Roll, as promised, before I head out to play some tennis. Looks like it's gonna be a nice day today. Maybe I should spend more time outside.

... Eh.

Torrent (Gillian) (8)

You animate your single Dagger, and it bobs up and down around your waist, making pretend-stabs at invisible foes. That'll do.
Meanwhile, you send one of your little light orb friends as quickly as you can up to the worm. And you watch as it gets enveloped by the giant mouth.

Then the worm's jaw falls off. You don't think you did that.

Hm.

Ociamarru (Nikolai) (4)

You shake your single remaining sword-arm violently, and the demon's body flies off in a huge arc.
And hits the worm.

You watch in horror as the giant beast changes direction in MID-AIR. Never mind the fact that it's missing half of its face - it's huge, and it's coming straight at you.

caekdaemon (Anderson) (5)

You start forming a giant field of mass fluctuations within the worm's body.

... Now Loading ...

... Now Loading ...

... Now Loading ...

LOOOAAAAD, DAMMIT.

Rage +1!

CaveCricket (Raphael) (7 + SWORD TRANCE = 10)

The world slows down.

You push off the air with your wings and dive downward with incredible speed, raising your sword as you reach the beast's head.

You don't even feel any resistance as the blade cuts through the worm's upper jaw. And you don't even flinch when you see the ground approaching so quickly that the impact could turn you to dust. You just fan out your wings, giving a single flap, which sends a current of air so powerful outward that the grass around you is permanently flattened, and calmly land with a single tentative foot before touching down completely.

All in a day's work.

Tokochiro (Johni) (7)

You bring your clone to you and throw him with all the force you can muster.
Which is about enough to get him 2 feet into the air.

He seems kinda pissed, and decides to leave.

You don't know what came over you, thinking you could throw a human body that far.

Phd (John Adams) (12)

You focus your energy and give a giant push with Telekinesis.
The resulting blast is powerful enough to send you flying out of the worm's mouth with remarkable haste. Air rushes past you with the force of a wicked gale, and you barely keep from retching, you're spinning around so dreadfully much. You're definitely clear of the enemy.

Now you just need to not hit the ground and die.

NPCs

Gabriel (-)

Gabriel has absolutely no idea how to take this thing on. He stands where he is.

Terry (5)

Terry backs up a few steps.

Then he starts running. Slowly at first, but he soon gains speed to the point where he's blasting across the field so fast that his feet barely touch the ground.
He pushes off, and soars through the air towards the worm.

Right into its mouth and down its throat.

That was... impressive?

Events:

Terry appears to be getting inside information. John (Phd) is not in danger of being eaten, but is now falling from really high up.
And Nikolai (Ociamarru) is about to get hit in the face with a thousand tons of worm.

What do.

Am lazy. May roll tomorrow, since I have a day off. If I don't, feel free to curse my name until the day you die.

Then Nighthawk created the Roll. And he saw that it was good.

Torrent (Gillian) (4)

You start healing your bruising. It doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot. Damn low rolls- er, dysfunctional powers.

Ociamarru (Nikolai) (7 + 1 = 8)

You dive the hell out of the way, rolling as you hit the ground, and feel a huge blast behind you as the worm strikes the earth (reference).
You then proceed to distance yourself further, and fix your morphed arms so you look human again. All problems solved!

caekdaemon (Anderson) (5 + 1 for repetition = 6)

You continue trying to form a huge mass field inside of the worm, but it's moving, so you can't continue using the previous one, and now it's underground, and you're not even sure where it is and HNNNNNNNG.

Rage +2!

CaveCricket (Raphael) (12)

You take off towards the worm, flying low to the ground, and swerve up just before you run into it. Executing a flurry of dives and rolls in midair, you slash the worm in many places, opening huge wounds that spew slimy green blood. You make a particularly deep-cutting strike right before the worm disappears underground completely, but you fail to anticipate how smoothly your sword cuts through the enemy, and you swing too far, clipping your own wing in the process.

At first, nothing registers but the feel of the cold steel, and then an explosion of pain bursts through your back and floods your head. You lose control of your flight and drop the sword as you tumble downwards, barely managing to stop the fall with your remaining wing and remain uninjured. You pick up your sword, which has, of course, buried itself into the earth up to the hilt, and inspect your wound.

The weapon cut all the way through the fibers of the wing, and halfway through the bone joint about midway down its length, leaving a big, ugly, gash that renders it unusable. It continues to ache with pain.

Tokochiro (Johni) (5)

Before you even summon your clone, a big "NO" flashes through your mind. Fine, then. You suppose you'll have to do it yourself.
You take off running to the place where it seems like John is going to fall.

... not quite there, and he's still falling!

Phd (John Adams) (3)

You try to use your telekinesis again, but after a huge repulsion like that, it doesn't seem to be working properly.

You're speeding up. A lot. Oh dear god helphelphelphelp.

NPCs

Gabriel (-)

Gabriel sticks his weapon into the ground and stands still for a moment. It looks like he's meditating or something.

Terry (1)

Terry doesn't seem to be emerging. That either means he's having a good time... or he's having a really BAD time.

Events:

Phd is still falling, and even faster because of the laws of physics. Our only wingman (ha) is busy dealing with his own issues, and Toko might not make it in time!
The tension rises!

Also, our two NPCs are being completely useless! How convenient!

What do.
