The two of you leave the bathroom and head for the closest stairwell, ascending one floor and stepping out onto the second floor.

You look up and down the hall - no one in sight. It's dead quiet, too.

Rhea takes a peek in the closest classroom, and then the next one over, and then the one after.

Rhea: "They're empty!"
Female, Eyes: Green, Hair: Bob Cut/Black, Skin: Light, Body: Average, Height: Short

Looking around, it looks like the only other person with abnormal hair is the pinkhair girl who was also in your Literature class. That must mean that you're the protagonist, and pinkhair's maingirl.

Hmm, maybe you could talk to her. It wouldn't be hard trying to find her, that's for sure.

The class goes on, students doing the problems, talking to each other, or asking the teacher for help.

You look in one of the rooms she looked in - empty.

The next one is empty too.

In fact, all four on this end are empty.

You grab her sleeve and start pulling her out of the classroom she's inspecting and drag her towards the stairwell.

Rhea: "Okayokay!"

You stop dead in your tracks as you approach the stairwell. Waiting around the corner leading to the other hall is the taller, blue-eyed girl with long, black hair. Charlotte Gausse.

She doesn't say anything, just stares at the two of you.

You quickly write down the problems and solve. Easy.

A few of your classmates seem to have disagreements about things though, guess it's not so easy for them.

Hmm. Rhea and Langley are taking a while to get back from the bathroom.

You keep a determined look on your face, and you're about to turn away and head back to class when Charlotte slowly raises her right arm.

An energetic crack echoes in the hall and a flash of yellow light flashes on her arm, and a small, ornate round shield appears on Charlotte's arm.



Charlotte remains expressionless, except maybe looking moderately bored while Rhea goes wide-eyed.

Charlotte: "Every time a Date occurs, it leaves behind an artifact that is related to it. This is my artifact, the Cleric's Shield.

Somewhere in the school is a new artifact, something related to French or language in general. Someone may have found it already, or maybe it's still hidden. Artifacts are dangerous if you don't know how to use them, but they improve your chance of surviving Dates."

She lets her shield arm fall to her side.

Charlotte: "Powerful artifacts have side effects, some are an inconvenience, others will kill you. If you find something that you think is an artifact, take it to one of the upperclassman."
