Angry face, then head over to join the battle.

Can I have a status report on the enemy? I'd like to analyse it for weaknesses and viable tactics.

Sorry about that, was off with my mother in Oshkosh and didn't have internet.

Go to Foraqe and tear up any fleshy, wounded bits I find. If I feel like I'm doing a good job, add some temporal tomfoolery into the mix.

Rolling.

Torrent (Gillian) (2)

You combine your two powers together to create... a tiny whirlpool. You feel a slight tug in the water in front of you. That did a whole lot.

Ociamarru (Nikolai) (4)

You charge Foraqe immediately, and almost get hit by a flying tentacle. The water flow from the attack pushes you, spinning, right past the creature's head.

caekdaemon (Anderson) (7)

"This is payback for making me have to walk over here from the ♥♥♥♥ beach. I'll make sure you die slowly."
You walk to the scene of the battle quite slowly, thanks to the annoying water resistance (+1 rage).

Suddenly there are fish everywhere.
(9 v. 6) You find it difficult to avoid them, there being so many, and they seek out weak points in your armor. Most of them bounce off harmlessly as they snap at you, but one finds a gap between your shoulder and your neck and bites down. You slap it away before it can do any more damage.

These things are starting to piss you off (Rage +1).

CaveCricket (Raphael) (6 - 3 = 3)

You realize that you don't breathe through your mouth and recover from the sense of drowning that you brought upon yourself with your foolish reliance on human anatomy.
You're actually perfectly fine.

You swim down and join the others.

(Yeah, I gave you that one because I screwed up. You're welcome.)

If I ever make another RtD... there will be NO shapeshifting.

Tokochiro (Johni) (10 - 1 = 9)

"PIRANHAS!"
You quickly swap bodies, becoming the one that is now above you, and begin swimming downward in a roundabout fashion while the other you, which you handily left behind, swims for his life to avoid getting chomped to death. He probably won't be happy about that, but at least he serves his purpose.

You reach the Nautilus.

Phd (John Adams) (11)

You grab a large bunch of the fish with telekinesis and hurl them in Foraqe's direction. They're propelled like a spread of miniature torpedoes, some striking Foraqe's shell and dying from the impact, while others stick headfirst into the side of the nautilus' soft head, causing the monstrosity to thrash in rage sending an-

*WHOOSH* (5 v. 8)

-attack right over your head.

NPCs

Gabriel

Gabriel swims over to Foraqe's head and hacks a few new cuts into it with his paddle blades (3 v. 5) before a tentacle almost hits him in the face.

Terry

Terry marches side by side with Anderson until they're within striking range of Foraqe.
He attempts to punch Foraqe's shell, but water resistance makes his attack disappointingly weak. So he takes a few of the rocks out of the Hunchback, until he neither floats, nor sinks, and swims back up to the hole he was working on earlier.

Locations
-Everybody is in range to attack Foraqe.

Who wanted a status report? Caek? Yeah, it was you. Well, here you go.

Foraqe:
Head - Cut up pretty badly.
Tentacle Arms - Most of them are still present.
Shell - Sporting a nice hole wide enough to fit a person, which leads to the inside of the shell.
Inside/Back of Head - Moderately damaged.

Foraqe is currently sitting still on the undersea cliff, defending itself from attackers with its many arms. It seems unaware of Terry, who is once again attacking the shell, while anyone who goes in for a frontal attack is usually struck at.

Fish Swarms:
A large fraction of them are chasing Toko's clone.
Another fraction was launched at Foraqe, and is effectively dispatched.
A last congregation is attacking caekdaemon.

Posting my action might be delayed, we couldn't pay the electric bill so now the only time I can use the computer is when we have the generator running.

Rawling before I have to leave. See my post in the FG Lounge for information.

Torrent (Gillian) (10 + 1 = 11)

You try harder this time, and to your delight, the water in front of you begins to spin. Slowly at first, then faster, faster, FASTER, FASTERRRR~
You quickly give it a push, imbuing it with Animation, and it blasts forward, almost taking you with it.
The stream of circulating bubbles slams into Foraqe's shell, not quite going through the hole you were aiming for. But what does it matter - you just made a new one. You also notice that someone who was swimming near there just disappeared, and hope you didn't kill them.
Another burst of bubbles erupts from the side of the Nautilus' head, and it gurgles (the only kind of sound you can make underwater) in pain as the whirlpool-drill rips away flesh before slowing to a halt.
And for some reason, Nikolai is also floating around the same spot where it stopped.

Ociamarru (Nikolai) (4 + 3 = 7)

Your eyes snap open, dilated fully, and you swim like a maddened animal towards the gap in Foraqe's shell. Then something unexpected happens. A blast of circulating water catches you on its way to the hole in the shell, and you RIDE it, as if it were a wave. Together, you tear through the outer shell continuing into the dark inside, and back out, straight through the back of Foraqe's soft, fleshy parts. You rip apart everything near you with savage force, and burst out of the front of the Nautilus. The water is red all around you.

caekdaemon (Anderson) (8 - 1 + RAGE x8 = Some scary mathematics)

"Get. The. ♥♥♥♥. AWAY!!"

For a moment, the world is black. You feel nothing, hear nothing, see nothing. But you taste blood. That's odd.

Then everything flashes painfully back into existence, and there are countless tiny fish carcasses floating around you. Most of them are ripped in half. A number of them have had their tails seemingly bit off, and a select few appear to have others' bodies jammed into their bodies.

You wonder who did that.

CaveCricket (Raphael) (11)

You swim, low down, to make sure that nothing sees you, especially the giant itself. You reach the crack that you started on earlier, and aim a single strike at it.
*Kssh* Your arm goes straight into the shell like it's suddenly... brittle. What just happened?
You pull your arm out, releasing several shards of the once rock-hard carapace. They begin to disintegrate into powder.

Tokochiro (Johni) (5)

You were thinking of sending in the clones, but then somebody absolutely rips the hole you were aiming for to pieces.
Everybody's just so dang impatient around here.

Phd (John Adams) (12)

You telekinetically grab a giant bunch of fish that was harassing Anderson, but you look away, and when you look back, they're all dead.
What the heck?

NPCs

Gabriel

-

Terry

Terry smartly dodges the blast of water launched by Gillian.

Locations
-Not important.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

"Guys, stop."
Somehow the party can understand Gabriel in the water. Probably thanks to the Gillmasks. Everyone stops what they were doing.
And then they all watch in awe as Foraqe disintegrates into a million little specks of powder that float away on the current.

Wait, what current? When was there a curre-

A gigantic blast of bubbling water explodes out of the sea cliff and hits everyone with such force that they're knocked unconscious. All they can feel is the pull of water, and a the salty taste of the air filtered by the Gillmasks as they sleep...

Someone coughs, and with a seemingly singular thought, they all awake. Another sandy shore, but is this Sol? It certainly doesn't look like it.
Gabriel manages to speak after another fit of coughing.

"Looks... like we're pretty far from Sol. We're in the middle of a bunch of mountains."
And they are indeed. Peaks loom up above them on both sides. There's a small path that looks passable in the valley ahead.
"Where's Terry?"
"Nyuhkagerout!" It's nearly impossible to understand him, but everyone turns to see the bottom half of the Hunchback, upside-down, stuck deep in wet sand.

With a good deal of pulling, the team manages to get him loose, and he stands upright somewhat shakily.
"Ugh. Thanks. Thought the earth was gonna swallow me up. Where are we?"
Everybody just shrugs.

"We'd better get moving somewhere. This is definitely a used path. If we take it, we'll probably end up near some kind of settlement."

They walk for a good, uneventful hour, before Gabriel hears the wagon.
"Everybody get down!"
Gabriel and the Six throw themselves behind bushes while Terry leans against a tree, his similar-colored golem camouflaging him.

The wagon drives by, and they can all hear the voices of the passersby.
"Why're we even here? Evreybody knows this trail leads tah nowhere. There's no dock for ships on the beach, and the shore ain't even large enough for a sizable one to land on! There's no security threat comin' from this valley!"
"Don't let them hear you saying that when we get off duty, Rulf. You know ever since the king went nuts that he's been executin' everyone who so much as looks at his commanding officers funny."
"I ain't that stupid. I jus' wish we had a more excitin' job. If we're gonna be out here patrollin' for trespassers, why can't we actually run into some, you know?"
"Don't push your luck. Even with these... things that they've been handing out to us, we wouldn't stand a chance against real seasoned warriors."
"'Don't push my luck?' With these things, we could push around anybody! You seen how they kill most evreythin' in a single shot, ain'tcha?"
"Yeah. An' I don't like it one bit. Feels unnatural."
"Hm."

Gabriel whispers:
"What do you want to do, guys? They're just patrolmen. We could let them pass, or..."
