You could make it so you had to, like, roll for finding it afterward.

Leap onto the back of the big-ass nautilus, and dive into the hole in the shell, furrowing into the beast. Slice up anything that looks important. If I see bones or similarly-hard things, Repulse Talisman.

Just keeping you guys updated - this week has been awesome but busy for me. I'm hoping to have a roll up by tomorrow. If not then, the next day for sure.

Just posting to assure the forums that (once AGAIN) this game isn't dead.

That was me being a derp. I apologize. I failed to roll for Toko as well in that turn.
In general, it was a bad roll for me. I just couldn't think straight.

You swing your foot like you're making a field goal, (2 v. 8) but miss horribly. The momentum carries you past the crab (1 v. 1) and you feel a claw whoosh past your back as you stumble forward. That was close.

The pain in your hand fades a bit, but still throbs numbly.




Ociamarru (Nikolai) (10 - 2 = 8)

Hearing Terry's comment, you quickly leap up and crawl to the top of the Nautilus.
You give your sprite friend a nod and tell him, "Oy heyve zeece kahvor'd," then leap into the hole headfirst.

You are falling. You quickly realize that you're going through empty space and nothing is going to stop the impact, so you flip around and brace for impact.
It comes quickly, and you go into a roll to soften the landing.

... It's dark. And damp. If most of the shell is empty space, the Nautilus must not be all that big.

"Hey! How's it going?"




caekdaemon (Anderson) (3 + 2 = 5)

"Smells good."
After picking up the things you dropped, you set your bars of alloy in the forge and sit down in the chair comfortably.

After a bit, you look back at the forge and notice that the metal isn't really heating up.
It must not be hot enough in there any more.




CaveCricket (Raphael) (2)

You thrust forward with your longsword, (2 v. 12) but the crab scuttles sideways, dodging your strike.
It suddenly charges and LEAPS at you, (12 v. 1) striking you across the chin with the blunt force of one of its claws, and pinning you to the ground with its weight!
The strike to your chin glances off thanks to fancy carapace armor, though.

1) It's unclear. I don't know whether you want to smash the crab WITH a clone, or smash the crab with your weapon, or what.
2) You're making too many actions. What is that... four actions? Or three? I don't know - it's unclear.
3) You're not giving all the details. What is the use of "send a clone to Terry?" Do you want the clone to just sit there and be with Terry? I don't fill in the blanks for Players because I'm afraid of filling them in wrongly. Thus, you have to fill in your own blanks.

As per tradition, I will only roll for your FIRST action, which is to disregard the pain.

You sit still and focus, trying to ignore the pain in your leg.
It works! In fact, the pain is nearly gone!

Phd (John Adams)

Adam seems to have disappeared, so I'm pulling you back up from the halls of the dead, Phd. I sincerely hope you're still checking these forums.

Also, your character has been reworked a little bit. I gave you a good amount of ammo because I don't want you totally defenseless when you start, and if you can pick one Major Glyph ability, or two Minors, to balance you a bit with the other characters.




NPCs

Gabriel

Gabriel keeps advancing, and slashes once again at the crab he's fighting off (8 v. 4) putting a huge gash through the middle of its head.
It collapses with a crinkling sound.

A giant tentacle whips towards Gabriel (1 v. 5) missing by a foot or two.




Terry

Terry peers down the hole he made, calling after Nikolai.



Locations
-caekdaemon is in the forge.
-Torrent is at a distance from Foraqe.
-Tokochiro, Phd, CaveCricket, and Gabriel are near Foraqe.
-Terry is on top of Foraqe.
-Ociamarru is !!INSIDE!! Foraqe.

Look for fuel and stuff it in the fire.
