Continue working on the metal. Use mental forge if necessary.

Well, ♥♥♥♥.
Send a clone outside to watch, make him disappear before he gets hurt or anything

Crap. Just realized I didn't update the roll #.

I ALWAYS forget to do that.

Edit - Updated.

Also, Toko. If you can't see the clone, you don't know what's going on, so you can't banish him before he gets the ♥♥♥♥ knocked out of him.
But, just between you and me, clones just vanish when they're damaged, so he'll be fine even if something does happen.

I put it in your inventory and then it vanished... I must not have saved the .txt file that keeps track of your characters. Updating....

UPDATE - Fixed. Hopefully that doesn't happen again.

Teensy bit of intro incoming:

__________________________________________________________________________________

Most of the party makes their way outside, and immediately get a full view of the monstrosity they have to face.

Ancient Nautilus
FORAQE

"I ain't never seen a bigger catch..."
-Sea Fisherman

Beneath a giant shell, large enough to easily crush a building simply by bumping into it, the Nautilus' face is shown. It does not seem to have eyes, but it has a gaping mouth and many tentacles with which it seems to be attempting to pull itself onto the shore. The creature is so colossal that barnacles seem to have attached to much of its outer shell. These parasites have grown quite large, but Foraqe* seems to pay them no mind at all, and continues dutifully dragging itself closer inland.

*Pronunciation Guide, for sanity's sake: (For-Ah-Kway)

___________________________________________________________________________________

Torrent (Gillian) (-)

You walk outside, putting away your mace and drawing your new daggers. Damn, that thing is humongous. It's at least as large at the Greater Demon you fought before.

Ociamarru (Nikolai) (8)

You duck and dodge around buildings, making sure to stay out of sight, or out of whatever sense this thing uses, since it doesn't have eyes. Before you know it, you're about 60 feet from it's head, which is as close as you can get without putting yourself in the line of fire. You're coming at it from the side, so there's no chance it'll run you over with the path it's taking right now.

caekdaemon (Anderson) (7 + 1 = 8)

You activate your Mental Forge ability, increasing the heat of the flames in the furnace. The metal begins to heat up further, until, by instinct, you know it's ready to be shaped. You let it sit for another few seconds in the fire before pulling it out and taking it to the anvil. With care and patience, you shape the hot metal. Slowly the shape changes, from an unintelligible blob of heat, to a flat surface, then a curved plate, and finally, a full plate of armor.
You dunk it into the water, and hissing steam dissipates to reveal the finished product.

The metal has turned a more burgundy hue, but it gleams in the light, creating patches of bright color, as if the fire of the forge was still fresh and alive inside of it. The metal turned out to be so sturdy that you went ahead and designed it to cover your entire torso, as well. Truly one of your greatest works.

CaveCricket (Raphael) (5)

You walk outside, and fumbling in your pocket, find the blade of grass. Concentrating hard, you will it to grow larger and wider. Incredibly, it does, but you notice that it hasn't lost its fragility in the slightest. It's just a rather long, unnaturally wide blade of grass.

Tokochiro (Johni) (9)

You send a clone outside, keeping him where you can see him, and he willfully obeys. You watch as he sits there for some time, observing the scene. Every once in a while he chuckles, usually after a large crash. Is he laughing at the houses getting crushed? Well, at least he's having a good time.

It seems to be relatively safe outside, then.

Adam (Adam) (-)

"Ground shaking? That only means fun. And things to kill"
You take off to the outside to see what's going on.

Wow. That thing is gigantic. And it's crushing everything it touches. At once you're glad you didn't decide to take a swim when you got here.

NPCs

Gabriel (-)

"Uh, I think we're gonna need a strategy for this one, guys."

Terry (-)

"Here's my strategy: smash the thing into little pieces."

Terry charges.

"A masterpiece."
Melt down my old, non-red metal breastplate into leggings.

What can I say? I recycle.
