O.C., the glowing plant is yours. You okay with Toko trying to have a conversation with it?

Sure, but Vadim shall be openly annoyed by it and if the 'conversation' amounts to nothing, he shall express his irritation.

To be honest I did not mean to to try and melt it with my forge ability, I had hoped that it would crank up its awesome.

"I'm going to go look for some firewood. If you guys hear any screams, it means something decided to pick a fight with me and that they are dying. No cause for concern, eh?"
Go find firewood.

EDIT : Forgot to comment on those map things! They look pretty awesome to be honest. Can I have black as my colour?

Your spelling is incredibly elegant. Although I believe that you did that on purpose.

When they're ready for use, I'll ask everyone what they want, so be there if you want first dibs.

The grinding continues!

Torrent (Gillian) (6)

Just so you know, you meant "Dagger". At least I think you did. Since you only have one dagger. Whatever.

Taking out your dagger, you practice fighting techniques with it. Spinning, slicing, and dodging imaginary foes and weapons. In the process, however, you get distracted by making the battle realistic, and get yourself knocked down by a nonexistent foe. Exercising your imagination is not as useful as exercising your skills.''

Gained Imaginative. This ability makes you better at solving problems and puzzles.

Ociamarru (Nikolai) (11)

You begin exercising, doing pushups, leg lifts, and running, pushing yourself to your limits. You take no breaks between exercises, forcing your exhausted body on, further than you've ever pushed yourself before. Right before you feel like you're going to give out, you feel something. A strange warmth in your chest. It feels... reinvigorating. Unintentionally, you release a shout that sounds more like a howling sound, and you are filled with energy. Not knowing what to do with this sudden strength, you stop in your tracks, and the sensation fades. You collapse, your vision blurry and dancing with colored lights.

Gained Feral Burst. When activated, this ability gives you the ability to halve your negative modifiers and receive a +3 to all combat actions for 3 turns. When these three turns are up, however, your negative modifiers will return two-fold for the next two turns. The ability begins to recharge after your three turns of energy, and you must wait 10 turns until it can be used again.
(Side Note: Feral burst does not take an entire turn to activate. You can make an action in the same turn that you use it.)

Johni saunters over, gives you a weird look, and then attempts to speak to your plant. It doesn't say anything, at least not that you can comprehend. Johni makes a face. You snort and get up, taking your plant with you.
While walking, you mess with it, testing its strength and seeing if it reacts in any way. It does not react whatsoever. Taking a deep breath, you yank as hard as you can on one of the leaves.

You can't break it. Whatever this thing is, it seems damn unbreakable.

caekdaemon (Anderson) (6)

"I'm going to go look for some firewood. If you guys hear any screams, it means something decided to pick a fight with me and that they are dying. No cause for concern, eh?"
You walk off in search of firewood, but the country around you seems to be changing as you get closer to sea. There are fewer trees. You manage to find a good pile of sticks, though. It won't keep a fire going for long, but it's something.

You are currently encumbered. You will continue to suffer -1 to all rolls for every weight point past your maximum. Drop an item or use an expendable one to lighten your load.

CaveCricket (Raphael) (4)

You pick up a blade of grass, close your eyes, and concentrate. When you open them, you're holding a blade of grass.
Damn.

Tokochiro (Johni) (1)

You completely fail to think of a way to combine your two weapons to make a lance, so you give up and go try and talk to Nikolai's plant. He's lying on the ground, panting heavily. You look at him funny, then take the plant and begin to speak.
You: "Hello?"
Plant: "..."
You: "Hey, if you can say dot dot dot you should be able to speak English."
Plant: "..."
You: "..."

You make a face and hand the plant back to Nikolai. Gah, you'll never understand how nature works.

Adam (Adam) (12)

You do MOAR PUCH UPS! And you feel ever MOAR MANLEE THAN BEEFOR!
Unfortunately, you're so very manly that it's actually scary.

Raised Slight Manliness to Frighteningly Manly.

NPCs

Gabriel

"Well, gang, we're here."

Terry

"That was pretty fast."

"Welcome to Sol, the capital of the southern sea."
Everyone quickly realizes why the seaside city is called Sol. The center of the city shows off a tall, conch-shaped building, atop which a great glowing orb can be seen sitting. The surrounding houses seem to be made of strangely sturdy, thin strips of palm wood and roofed with some kind of dried seaweed. Birds soar overhead and dive into the coastal waters, catching fish as they swoop and glide through the salty air. The residents of the city are nowhere to be seen, however.

"Is this place normally more... populated?"
"Heck yeah. This city is one giant tourist attraction."
"Are they all..."
Gabriel cuts him off.
"No, if this place was raided, there would be damage to the buildings. They're practically untouched."
Gabriel turns to the Six.
"Where should we go?"

"Into the town. Be on your guard though, I don't like this."
> Tuck the blade of grass away for later. Pull out Nikolai's Longsword and ready it for combat, and head into the town. See if I can detect anything living with Telepathy.

If I knew that we was going to be at the town so fast I'd have not went for a trek into the woods :???:

Anyhow...
"You guys can go ahead, I'm gonna go to a forge and see what I can do with this ore and ingot."
Drop some sticks and then go find a forge.

EDIT : Can I drop a item without it being part of my action?

Also, will being encumbered eventually make me stronger?

I think it'd make sense that being encumbered, while not exactly giving you a strength bonus (IE: my Great Strength), it'd eventually add to your total carry weight.
Hmmm...well now I can safely experiment on this thing without being worried about it breaking.

Also, ♥♥♥♥ yeah, now I'm basically the team's Berserker!

Head on with the others. If we aren't attacked or interrupted or anything, try to Fus Roh Dah the strange crystalline plant with my Repulsor Talisman.

Dropping an item is a minor action.
As for encumberment making you stronger... I don't know. It would make sense, but it's a bit hard to keep track of the time that's passed while you were encumbered.

So, for all means and purposes, no. Not in this RtD.

EDIT - If you used a Grinding Roll (while traveling) to load yourself with stuff and carried it throughout the day (since each Grinding Round is a day), then I WOULD give you a passive ability that adds to your carry weight.
