Hate to be a party-pooper, but the larger he is, the less strength-to-body mass he'll have, exponentially so.

Well in this universe I can changed into a buffalo form that has greater mass than my original body. Realistic physics obviously don't apply.

Edit: Also holy ♥♥♥♥. The average Hercules beetle is theoretically capable of carrying 37.5 lbs (17 kilograms). Whether it would be able to actually balance that much weight, I have no idea.

Edit2: The Titan beetle (similar to the Hercules beetle) - "Adults can grow up to 6.5 inches (16.7 cm) in length.[2] It is said that their mandibles can snap pencils in half and cut into human flesh."

That is scary.

Well yeah, but if you transform into a 100-kg beetle, you won't be able to lift 40 metric tons.

That thing can move large rocks and logs with a lot less muscle than other animals.

You animate the Greater Demon. Putting your hands in front of you, you set them as if you were gripping an imaginary head. You thrust one hand forward and bring another back towards your body. Hearing a crack and a loud, nasty gushy sound, you look up and see that your foe is now lacking a very vital body part.

You can't help but crack a grin. That was damn satisfying.

Using temporal control once again, you speed up the aging process of the giant's legs. You watch as the hair covering them gets a hella lot longer, then turns a patchy gray. It seems to be working.

Instinct takes a hold of you with a firm grasp, and you know exactly what to do. Shifting the mass charge to your good hand, you leap into the air, higher than you thought you could. You feel so... light. The demon is far below you. Diving at an angle, you charge yourself with so much mass that you feel the force is nearly ripping you apart. You hold the charge in front of you like a shield and close your eyes, bracing for impact...

There's a flash of light so bright that you see it through your closed eyelids, and then a wave of vibration courses through your body. You black out for a second.

Opening your eyes, you find yourself in a crater. You look up and see the demon facing away from you - there's a huge hole ripped in his chest.
You feel giddy for a moment, then the feeling is replaced by light-headedness. You fall onto the ground in a heap. That was absolutely EXHAUSTING.

Gabriel flies through the air...
"Wonder if this'll work..."

With a few slashes of his sword, the weapon transforms into a very sharp little hang glider.
However, it doesn't slow his fall a whole lot.

He lands rather ungracefully on the ground. A dull crack and a cry of pain announces that he's hurt himself in the fall.

Regardless of the fact that it has no head and a giant hole through its chest, the Greater Demon remains on its feet.

But only for a moment. It sways, then falls over sideways, nearly crushing a house in the process. There's a loud boom as it collides with the ground, a dust cloud fills the area.
There is silence as it clears. There's no Glyph where the demon's body was.

"Aww, no reward?"

"Our reward is that we live," Gabriel says, lifting himself to his feet. He uses his sword to hold himself up. He doesn't look as happy as he did in the midst of the battle.

"Let's make our way south, now."

Adam runs across the road, screaming whilst madly patting at his burning scalp with his hands.

"Oh, right. I almost forgot you guys nearly died." Gabriel's solemn look is replaced by his trademark smirk.
"Let's fix you all up before we go."
