Post Mac resources on PC
All of the Mac build packages converted to work with the PC.

None of the new engine features, but the new PresetNames and the new items. Probably mostly useful to modders who want to make compatible mods, though there are some nice changes for everybody.
Note, download includes all you need to start, you don't need to install it over an existing Cortex Command. It's about 35 meg.

Mediafire

WARNING: I recommend you install this to a separate folder so you don't accidentally mess up your current Cortex installation.

Post Nifty.
Thanks. I don't suppose it would be possible to isolate the changed things and include those as a separate .rte?

That would be my next project, making a catalog of the changed PresetNames and sprite names.
There are two outcomes, both of which are beneficial. First, the translation of the names and sprites could be completed, so that all modders may rejoice. Second, b23 could come out, spoiling all the hard work but giving a new build that does the same thing.

ask me to do it

i kinda already did the coalition stuff.

it's a different layout for some of the changed .rtes, it makes it really easy to just put the folders and .inis in there, include the .ini in the device folder's .ini that lists the .inis inside the device folder.

I would not work too hard on that, considering the content is supposed to be synchronized in the next build.

Not saying don't do it, just don't bust your ass trying to, because the next build is going to render your work obsolete.

Just saying.

Well logging the changes in preset names would help people with mods referencing them...

Using this gets me ready to rant about B23 before it has even come out. But there's still time to change some things, so I won't.

If someone doesn't change that goddamn spike cannon into a worthy replacement for the compact cannon...

Wowee this rocks. I like build 23 already.

Interesting new item layout, I've already cleaned up my own bunker menu clutter after seeing this.

It is not a build, it is an extraction and conversion of the mac data files to work with b22, which is the latest pc build.
