I haven't really done anything exciting recently, but I thought I'd share some of the small mods I've made recently for B22.

Shardlance - Updated the... well, it's just better than before :P

The Shardlance is like a harpoon gun, but instead of relying on the harpoon's sharpness to do damage, it relies on the sheer weight of the lance and the fact that the end of them are on fire.

*The blunt lances have little effect on thick metal armour, and can shatter upon impact.*

Vortex Sphere - Updated the engine strength to make them weaker, and also sucks things in slower

Made of some odd material encased in tough glass, this craft will hover over the battlefield and suck in men and weapons alike. To activate, order it and then click once. When you click twice more, it will eject everything at high speeds in all directions.

Reliquary Discoveries (Ordered under "bombs") - Updated throwing strengths and beefed the torment ward up slightly

Discovered in an ancient reliquary, these copies of the relics contained within have reached the battlefield:

Judgement Ward - Impact sensitive.

Torment Ward - Timer activated.

Sacrificial Knife - A very finely made throwing knife, allowing for accuracy and power during a throw.

The reliquary discoveries were originally an idea for a faction based on a civilization who used magical devices rather than technological devices. The shardlance was the basis for a set of weapons which relied on sheer brutality and were more for deterring soldiers than anything. The vortex sphere was just like, me messing around =]

I have a few nitpicks about this mod:
1.The Shardlance has too much ammo. it should have like 1 harpoon with a quick reload.
2.The harpoons split in half too easily. It does alot of damage but i would like it to stick partly in a wall before the flame goes out.
3.The reliqueries too weak?? I'm not sure if there supposed to be that way.
4. The Spheres engines are WAY too powerful. I have trouble making it go down, and it sucks everything up too fast.
Other than those things i like the knife and it is a decent mod... just needs tweaking :D

If anyone has an idea of how to make the shardlance stick into walls, then please do tell! As of yet, I can't get it to work like I want...

Have you seen numguns stake launcher?

It shoots sticks that dig deep into terrain and work as a ladder.

No, I've not even heard of it :/

I'll check it out now! Though I don't really want my weapon to seem like a cheap ripoff of his, 'cos I ain't really gonna match up :P I genuinely did not know!

Edit: I searched for the stake launcher and found a post by numgun saying "check out my stake launcher" next to a link.... which doesn't work, unfortunately

Give the vortex sphere some sharp emmitters so it cuts up the things that it sucks in.

Fix the knife offset.

The ward idea is great. If you can use Lua on then, you could make healing, dissarming and any other special effect ward

yeah, you said you were doing a pack of ward things, I say continue, the glows are helza tight. Love the symbols and stuff.

The torment glyph blows up before I can get it out of my hand. ( Hint; use this ActivatesWhenReleased = 1 It activates the timer, after you throw it )
I think I just discovered how you use it.

And the Harpoon gun's harpoons orient too quickly with it's velocity.
