This is my first mod,
It is a Rpg That have 5 rounds a Mag, can fire the quite rapidly.
(I know, its owerpowered and cheap.)

Eh, from looks, it looks like a simple RPG with an added trail.
Not too bad of an idea for a first mod :smile:
(I'll comment later after I try it)

EDIT:Uh..I first see something obvious that you need to work on
Change the names!
Do not have AEmitter Template of Cannon Template

Good, for a first mod.
Just keep in mind that the actual rocket sprite does not rotate with the aim.
So you have to make the round a sphere.

Well, sorry for the names, i forgot about that. :(
And yes, it is realy simple. Its the first time i manage to put a trail on a bomb.
Next time ill change the names and try to get a better sprite and effects.

It's not bad at all, but the explosion is way too big. You have to be at the huge distance just to ensure you won't get blow away, or have the gun knocked out of your arms. and that means you have to sacrifice accuracy. Also, you need to balance the GoldValue (it is the same as the flak cannon, while being about 10 times as powerful) and change the number of rockets. Five is too much. Two would be fine. Then, it would be worth something like 90 bucks. (Just suggesting, here.)

But it's got some good aspects, too. I like the sprites, though the RapidfireRPG's has a couple of weird things on it near the end of the cannon. And the missiles are too simple, and they are not really ahead of the trail sa they should be.

But still, for a first, it's very nice work. :grin: Keep at it!

The sprite does not look like an RPG at all.
It looks like some sort of SMG.

And here we have people flaunting their elementary knowledge of weaponry. Seriously, just go into an AAL thread and find reasons why the orbital cannon or maxi-blower wouldn't work IRL.

A good first mod, but like Roy said, you gotta change the missile sprite to something round because it doesn't rotate in the game, just stays flat.
Also, you might wanna have the RPG held higher up to look more believable, cuz it looks weird to have him holding it like an smg.

RPG is shoulder mounted. Also, you have to individually load each FUDGING HUGE rocket, so 5 shots fired rapidly would require a huge ass missile pod.


Pretty awesome for your first mod though, like the trails.

RPG - Rocket Propelled Grenade
That is a Russian anti-tank weapon - the RPG-7. But RPG don't have to look like that.
It's just a form of weapons - a rocket launcher that fires "rocket" grenades - think about what you post!

As has already been said, this is an excellent first mod. I like the sound effect. It's imbalanced compared to the standard weapons, but for fighting against modded factions, it's fine. It also doesn't cause a performance hit on my mid-level PC, you have a good balance between eye candy and performance.
