ok...
truely insulting
btw it's not that bad really, but saying it is more like a "Rocket Propelled Grenade" when is shoots bullets is a bit off.

Sorry guys that was my brother!

It needs some work, especially the bullet. I'll download it and see how it is.

That isn't a bullet.

That's 150 bullets swarming together as they are fired out of the gun simultaneously.

To the OP, please make this into either a base defense turret or a mobile turret of some sort. I will definitely use it if you do.

you would use this?
if it were well coded, and somehow interesting, maybe. like s7n's sphere shotgun, that thing is epic. but this needs work. actually, no, this needs scrapping, and the OP should start a new mod..

That's really, really, REALLY funny that you said that, SIR.
I have started a new mod. And it's big. So don't worry, you'll get what you want.
Please, for the love of Christ, give constructive feedback, don't just say, "get rid of it".
Do you know why? Because saying something as such discourages the maker from trying something else because they're worried they'll get posts like the one you just spit out.
I, however, am not one of those people. Enjoy my mod, whenever it comes out.

your thoughts mirrored my own in any case. apologies for potentially disheartening you, most honourable BEANME, but you must realise that the board has its reasons for discouraging mods of this caliber.

Gee, thanks, But think about this for a second. When I released this... Do you really, really think that I put much effort into it? You said it yourself. "It needs work."
"Well, why release it?" you might ask.
Well, I'm really sorry, my mind must have phased back to the time when these forums were still about having fun, not having a bar of quality where you get bitched at for being ever so slightly lower than it.
Back in build 17/18, I saw a giraffe mod that was basically a bunch of sticks and coloured splotches that didn't work at all, and yet there was no flaming, it was a general consensus that the mod was ridiculously badly-made, yet it was still silly and fun to use.
That's what I was going for here, your superiorness. I'm sorry if I tainted your view of a perfect, uniform world.

Post Re: CAS - The Crazy-Ass Shotgun
no, no tainting. this would just be more fun if it didnt lag for me. im all for "lulz" mods, but i've seen a lot of weapons that just bump up the numbers of particles or rounds per minute, and as nostalgic as they can be (ahh, the good old days, with a 4000rpm AK.. sigh), i didnt find joy in this, and wouldnt use it. personally, i dont think my opinion should not be altered to suit the modders tastes of critique. if you wish, you could just ignore my comments and read into the comments of those that enjoyed this. but for me, this is how this weapon works:
Code:
fire CAS
storm of metal flies towards target
storm of metal comes within one frame of target
lag
???
profit

and as effective as it is, i dont enjoy that. and im entitled to that opinion.
i willl be looking forward to your new mod, however, on the grounds that you understand this mod lacks quality, and when you make a serious mod you will include quality on your "to do" list. i do hope that i havnt disgruntled you to the point of not releasing it.

Of course not ;).
I'm not so easy to discourage. I can say with very little doubt (because, you know, there's always a chance.) that people will like my new mod.

The tension is killing me.

And you will never know if that was sarcasm or not.

I'm actually having a hard time distinguishing that from sarcasm or sincerity; Text does not reveal much.
