Post Receiver
ABOUT

Receiver is a game made in 7 days by Wolfire, the people behind the game overgrowth, and the founders of the Humble Indie Bundle. This is a game where you are in the middle of the attack on humans through social media and you, a receiver, are one the only ones left. You must find tapes to understand more and survive while doing so. You must kill turrets, and flyer drones, all of who have weak points that disable certain systems, such as their sensors, weapons, or motors.
MECHANICS

The game has VERY interesting mechanics, You can use an advanced set of keybinds to mess with your weapon in just about every way possible, from taking out the clip and loading every bullet one by one, to turning on the safety, and pulling back the hammer. Here is a video on the mechanics:

DOWNLOAD

As of now, by having the game "Overgrowth" from them, and going to their SPF (secret preorder forum) and downloading it from there, you will get it for free. If not, you must go here and buy it for a minimal price of $5.

Haha, they released RC3, but took it down because it made bullets invisible. That was an oppsie.

Post Re: Receiver
Just bought this, downloading now. It looks really fun. The question is, can I take pieces off my gun so when I fire it it launches the barrel out or something silly like that?

EDIT:
Wow, this is really awesome. No silly gun exploding things, but great nonetheless.

You can now vote for Receiver on Steam Greenlight, so please do so if you like the game.
Also new update including Smith and Wesson revolver something or other, and a Glock style gun, each with obvious differences
