These seem to grow on trees. Anyways, another one game special. It says:Pay what you want for the Voxatron alpha and... Be the first to tackle this voxel-based, old-school-gone-new platform shooter. Pick up your trusty pea gun and shoot your way through more than twenty areas filled with blocky baddies, destructible toys, and palliative powerups. Get Voxatron's future content and gameplay updates. As a customer of the Humble Voxatron Debut, you'll receive access to all of Lexaloffle's future updates to Voxatron: levels, characters, and more! &: Make awesome voxel levels, with monster creation tools on the way! After conquering the alpha adventure, check out the “BBS Levels” for instant-access to user-created content. Want to make your own masterpiece? The Voxde level editor is included with every purchase, granting you the ability to create mind-blowing new environments to share with the world. And soon, Lexaloffle plans to add monster creation tools for designing your own blocky bad guys to populate your creations. Personally, Ill be buying this. Its also got a pretty sweet level editer. The gameplay is rather unique & it reminds me on Minecraft. That's always a good thing. |

I bought it, beat it, enjoyed it thoroughly. That voxel stuff really does add to the experience, it's quite fun. |

¡ Remember that Australian engine that runs on voxels. They are the future. Not polygons. This could be considered a success! EDIT: Duh, you say you finished it, how long is it? |

That engine runs on sparse octrees, not voxels (notch actually talked about it). Though there are some sophisticated engines out there like Atomontage that are voxel based, but it's most useful for destructible terrain versus characters (which are better done with polies) since terrain doesn't have to animate that much, only be modified and then stay static. |

There's 4-ish areas, the first one directly in front of your initial spawn, one to the right, one to the left, and a lava area that branches off from that one, and then the end. Quite vague directions I know but I have a terrible memory for small details like the theme of each area. |
