So, LA Noire. retro detective work/investigation game in the style of GTA (Well, it's made by Rockstar) or Mafia it seems. What really interests me is the use of the technology to capture facial expressions from actors in good detail. This video here, although in German, shows some pretty good shots of the engine in action. There's also a lot of views of the interrogation scenes in which the facial expressions play a big part in telling if someone is telling the truth or not. What say ye, about this? |

Oh wow Tim B^Uckley is doing a comic based on a game with state of the art facial animation. That's just sort of funny on its own. |
