Make sure you download the night sky mesh fix, because otherwise everything will be ♥♥♥♥.

Vurt's Hi-res Skies and Weather
Okay, listen up. That last thing you downloaded? This replaces it entirely.
But you don't want it to be replaced entirely. Because, as BTB so eloquently puts it;
"I can honestly say beyond the shadow of any doubt that SWG's night skies kick the everloving ♥♥♥♥ out of Vurt's."
We agree on this, and also on that SWG's snow and blizzard skies are better than Vurt's.
So extract everything from this except TX_STARS.DDS, TX_BM_SKY_BLIZZARD.DDS, and TX_BM_SKY_SNOW.dds.

More when I get round to it.

I haven't tried this personally, but by all accounts it is a very competent and relatively easy way to get Morrowind looking fairly decent.
