Nation states is a nation simulation game, but kind of a sandbox. What your nation comes out as is determined by your responses to a little quiz at the beginning of the game, and various issues that pop up through out the game. Heres a Image of my nations description to show what the game looks like.

Im still waiting for the legislation about the implementation of a secret police to happen. This secret police is the normal police, that hides and terminates people who complain. Another issue to be legislated is that a will no longer exists, on death all your properties head to the state.

So, anyone else play Nation States?

I used to play this about a year and a half, and had a total joke state. I was some sort of totalitarian facist dictatorship regime sorta deal.

Yeah, you start out as that until you do a few issues.

There is a way to increase the number of issues you recieve per day in the settings. Also you can change your flag and empire title there.

Also, here I am.
I'm seeing if a country of no real government, instead ruled by individual feelings and group agreement, will work. Whilst banning corporations, or things that allow one group/individual too much power. Tribalist communism.

The sensibly sensible nation of Alxco (because Areku was already taken) is now part of the realms of data.
