I like to make what I call 'pressure chambers' and transfer air pressures and materials between them. I didn't know it had been updated though.

Powder game has better physics than Falling Sand game, FSG just has better moddability.

There are tons of versions of the FSG, but the most recent one is pimp. I think it technically isn't an FSG, since there's no actual falling sand, but it's got more features than the Powder Toy AFAIK.

And wxSand and Burning Sand came before Powder game.
And XavierEnigma's various games (Pyro Sand, Hell of Sand, Falling Sand Game) came before them, and were also predicated by others, I believe.
God I know way too much about falling sand games.
