P1 red, P2 blue.
It's intention is to be a quick game with procedurally generated floating island enviroment.
The tiles are simply seven different 8x8 square tiles with overlays making it into a lot more.
This page will have more info on it when that time comes, might wanna check out the devlog aswell.

Totally diggin' the 36/40 panda. The others seem a wee bit too small to see, at least at 1X size.

Well, that's great then. I assume those are the characters from the three tribes, right?

No it's actually a whole nother game.
Built on what we already have of tincan tho.

It's P1 (red), P2 (blue) and enemies (brown).

It'll have procedurally generated floating islands if pete gets that working (which he most def will, considering it's pete).

Well goddamn you guys work fast.

This uses the same engine as tincan, right? Good heavens, I cringe when I think of how much work it must have taken you to make terrain colliding so smooth.

Also, looking great so far. Any more details about the setting/plot or are you making it a secret for extra hype points?

I saw this coming.

This is really impressive, I love the style. Some indication on its current state would be good, like how long before we can test it out, maybe?

Pete just put two player support in :3

The plot is currently a white dwarf.

I was thinking about holding back the public download until we have say, some basic combat in.

Otherwise it'll feel very much like tincan with a different tileset and some tweaked numbers. We'll see, though.

Now I know where it stands. This sounds good, out of the sudden wave of home-games, nobody used 2P properly, if at all. You are right, Pete, we do need combat. And a plot. Your tincan physics were really good, so these one's will therefore be also, provided they didn't go through the mill during crossover.

So this is multiplayer? Limited to one machine, or perhaps local? Maybe across the internet?

Anyway, it looks good!
The tileset is very nice, no doubt the work of Lizard. The grass loops a bit repetitively though. :<

For the moment atleast it's local, will probably stay that way.
I dunno, would be fun with machine to machine atleast.

And ye the grass is a bit repetitive.
Goig to do soemthing about it, but it's not too high on my list.
