   |   Death Rallyhttp://www.remedygames.com/games/deathrallyDeath Rally is an awesome top down racing game that was made fro DOS but has been ported to Windows and has now been released for free to the public. Does anyone else here play it? If you like competetive racing with guns, mines and bumper spikes thrown in, you should give it a try!

   |   Re: Death RallyI loved this thing and played the demo more times than I can count when I was something like 8 years old.
Thanks a bunch for the find; I've been looking for this for a while. I hope it works...

   |   Re: Death RallyIf someone beats the adversary on medium, can you please tell me how you did it? And it's a pleasure! I had great fun with this when it was a demo as well.

   |   Re: Death RallyYeah, I always upgrade tyres first 'cause thems cars do drift quite a bit. The deliverator with a fully upgraded engine and basic tyres acts like its on oil covered ice, and at 160km/h that's not such a good thing.

   |   Re: Death RallyTires are by far the most important upgrade; armor is mostly useful as a long-term investment so that you don't have to spend as much $$ on repairs.
I beat the game in 56 (I think) races on medium. Basically, you trail him just outside of his mine-laying range until you get to the last lap, where you pop your saved-up turbo and overtake him on the last curve. I'm going to go for hard pretty soon. It's just as fun as it used to be, so far.

   |   Re: Death RallyMy main strategy is to stay behind until they run out of ammo. Then I'll speed up and kill the guy in front. By this point I should be clear to speed through the race.
