Post Mud & Blood 2
This game is so awesome :3

Mud & Blood 2

It's a small indie game by urbanprophet. The goal is to prevent the germans from reaching the bottom.
You can call in reinforcements, fire support and build fortifications.
The game is highly randomised and cruel. Propably the most cruel game I've ever played.

Dead people.

You start off with 4 soldiers armed with Springfield rifles. These soldiers aren't very good.
The germans start coming from the top of the playing field and you must stop them.

You can build fortifications and obstacles (like mines and barbed wire) with engineers, call support with signallers and officers and buy better weapons for your soldiers.

Sometimes the germans will launch Blitz waves. These are very different from time to time. Sometimes they will launch an all-out tank attack, sometimes they will send a gazillion snipers against you.

I don't know how to write an opening post like this. Go try the game yourself. http://www.urbanprophet.com/mudandbloodz.html

I love this game, but I usually get a blitz wave by the fifth wave - usually the third...

I get blitz waves pretty rarely, I often get to somewhere near 200 kills. I don't know if that's much or not.

Engineers seem to always get pretty experienced. In two matches in a row I've had a super-engineer with something like 80 rifle, 60 exp and 90 morale.

My gunners get lots of experience too.

Once I had one really good soldier who was INSANELY good, I kept on giving him ranger training, and he ended up just being able to gun down entire waves by himself - so then I gave him four medics then an asshat airplane killed them all.

You can have 6 soldiers before they start mortaring you, I believe. So yeah. Don't ever go over 6.

So I'll just get a gunner, mortar, engineer, medic and 2 soldiers with garands/bars.

Well, if you have Camnets you can get more, but scouts render them useless, so be careful about how you use them. Personally, if I'm feeling lucky, I'll get a trench with a camnet over it, and put extra soldiers in there.

I've never used camnets. I always thought that they are useless.

No, any soldiers under camnets aren't counted in your total soldier count. I usually have two snipers in camnets.

Camnets are useful SOMETIMES.

Say you have 6 soldiers. You buy one more, and the enemy uses artillery. You put him under a camnet, and they think you have 6 again. But if a scout shows up, your camnets are rendered useless.

Glad we've got that cleared up.

Say, what do you do to enemy tanks? I try to taunt the germans and get a bazooka as fast as possible.

I die. Or I get lucky. Meh. I usually only last about 50 waves, and so I never see tanks or anything.

I can last ages, using a mixture of solid defense. Trench lines that fall back if the front is overrun.

Use the M3 against the tanks.

This just happened to me, but instead of a plane it was a volley of 4 simultaneous grenades. Good times.
