Post subject:  Game Nostalgia Thread

Since i've seen a few gaming threads today about games similar to games i used to play, i've decided to make a game nostalgia thread. :D

I'm gonna start with Dominant Species here, a game where you play as an alien race and had to fight against humans who came to the planet for resources.

Dark Reign

I used to love it, but it automatically installs DirectX 7 or something like that, so you have to reinstall DirectX.

Road Rash was is the ♥♥♥♥.
2 was also great, 3 was okay, and the series declined from there.

Down plus punch. Sends 'em reeling, potentially into obstacles. Oncoming traffic, for instance.
Up plus punch to do a back-hand slap, which is way better than a punch at knocking people off their bike.
Between those, punches are pretty useless.

strangly, i played that game when i was 7 all the time, never payed attention to plot, forgot about it, forgot the name,
and rediscovered it last year after falling in love with the book.

Myst, the original. Never beat it and I was too young to truly appreciate, but I have some fond memories of that game. Recently found the disk again, but it crashes whenever I try to flip a switch, and is slow as hell.

Abe's Odissey. The countless nights spent playing this with my friends where humongous.

There was this space game I had like 10 or 11 years ago back when I had a Windows 98 machine.
Some kind of 1st person space ship flying thing where you fly through space and fight some other space ships. I think the main menu screen was your mothership's loading dock.

Nope. Just tried, told me it's a Win32 only game.
