I think its a Vector game, one of the Circles/Squares are supposed to be the character.
As i see Hp:100.

But still, please explain.

Edit: it was a game developing competition, i think this is Geti's submission.

Edit: 2, when he said theme was islands, he meant islands was the theme of the contest.

yeah I like LudumDare and have wanted to sumbmit a game myself but never had the motivation to do so. though even looking at your blog you don't explain what the game is, but the latest update looks pretty good.

Oh, its like a physics platformer where you try not to get killed by meteors for as long as you can. movement is pretty gimped at the moment tough <_<
Working on graphics for a bit though.

neroe: OS means operating system, and yeah you need one of those to run my game :P You'll also need love, which you can get from love2d.org to run it.

drop.io/ilopocalypse has a new version that looks better and doesn't have deltatime bugs, for those interested. the meteors look a terrible cause i haven't written a filter to keep the pixels at 2x size but pleh. It's certainly better than the old debug graphics

graphics are pretty heavily oryx, cave story, spelunky and prom inspired as you might expect.

Revisited it over the last week, dev time clocks ~30 hours maybe? Including pulling my hair out over stupid bugs because I haven't refactored the code since the event.

Still alpha version, but stable enough for some sort of play. I'm aware of a lot of bugs, but if you get anything unexpected, I'd love to hear about it.
