http://www.ted.com/talks/jane_mcgonigal ... world.html Discuss. Seemed a bit far-fetched to me but, at the same time, I can see where she's coming from :V Will WoW players be the saviours of the future? Or is this an attempt to generate hype and support for games? |

Egh, it's an interesting way to see gaming, but I don't think it can be applied in a useful way nearly as successfully as she thinks. |

I doubt playing gtaIV makes the world a better place, but if you're a soldier and you play teamwork-based multiplayer fpses with your squad, you'd probably either trust them more or get very afraid of this one person cause he teamkills you repeatedly. |
