My reaction when seeing this: Quote: YES! YESSSSSHH! THIS IS DELICIOUS! I just hope that it is better than that last DLC.

NCR from Fallout 2 are there, at least... And it's closer to the San Fran/New Reno of 2 than the Rivet City of 3, at first look. I still want my "melee to the eyes" back.

Re: yo dawg so i herd u liek fallout
Hell yeah. I know that FL3 wasn't the same as 1&2, but you've got to consider that they are almost completely different kinds of games, even if they're set up in the same "universe", so to speak. The original ones were 2D turn-based RPGs. The new one is a 3D shooter/RPG. Pretty much the only gameplay aspect that is the same is the RPG, and that is a term with quite a broad range of meanings. So yeah, try to appreciate each of games for what they are by themselves, and not what they are compared to completely different games.

I hope they dont have the need to cut out parts of the games to add in later as DLC's this time, I dont want to wait for another game of the year edition to get it for a reasonble price

Re: yo dawg so i herd u liek fallout
He said honestly, what more could you ask him to do to convey sincerity?
I am just disappointed there will be no more games taking place in the DC Metro area. I had a friend from out of town roll into DC with me and the first thing he said entering the metro station is "Wow, they really do look like this in real life (in re: FO3)!"
It was neat to walk around the real life National Mall (being a denizen of that area) and wonder where super muties were hiding.
Or wonder if I could put a satellite dish on the Washington Memorial.
I think that's one of the reason's I liked FO3 as much as I did--cultural connection.

Ophanim wrote: why don't you cry some more then maybe someone will care about some old faggy game that nobody plays anymore Woah, not to turn this in to a flamefest, but... I can have this feeling you have never played Fallout 1 or 2 and that you are born around 1990 or later. As a result you have no veto in the question, and is for that reason ignored. Areku wrote: Hell yeah. Yes, but the games are not in the same "universe", there is just to much things that don't fit in. The game world is like Fallout.. As Areku also said the games are very diffrent (3D shooter/RPG Vs Turnbased/real RPG). If I make a game about, say, Clowns fighting in a boxingring covered in mud "Clowninator", then "Clowninator 2" would not be a chessgame. If the game had a diffrent name like "Wasteland warrior: Fallout Chronicles" or whatever, it would be just fine. Fallout 3 is a rather good Action-RPG, but not a awesome one, if I want action RPG I play Mass Effect or Fable. Fallout 1 & 2 is both awesome RPGs, even if the lack grossly in grapics today.
