Text adventure?

  Text adventure?I'm looking for some good Text RPG like a MUD but singleplayer... I am forced to use a laptop from medieval times til next weekend, so I better do the best of it.
Any tips? |

actual MUDs: http://www.topmudsites.com/ number one on the list looks more rougelike than the others and has ascii graphics as well, the rest of the top 5 seem to be purely text based, though I can't say for sure. |
