(( this includes iPod Touch, since for all intents and purposes they function identically--baseband nonwithstanding )). Anyone have any awesome games they would like to share with those of us who have iPhones (( whether they want to admit it or not )). I'll start out: GeoDefense: Swarm Made by these guys that made an extremely well polished tower defense game, they are redefining the gametype with Swarm. Instead of creeps following a linear path dictated by the level creator, the creep flows on a hexagonal grid system. They take the most linear path between an entrance and an exit hex, moving only when towers are blocking their path. The great part about this game is that it takes a fundamentally infinite game and makes it DOUBLE infinite. It's basically free-form tower defense If you love TD-style games, you ought to buy GD:S. $1.99 in the iTMS. $1.99 for the generic GeoDefense game also. Vanilla GD features a free, lite edition for demoing. |

Not a game, but still fun in a retarded way. Bebot, a robot synth. Surprisingly addicting in how many options and sounds it has and can make. |

Have a look at Tower Madness 3D, Jet Car Stunts and GTA Chinatown Wars. Also, try iPeePee for the lulz. |

List of some of my favorites: OMG! Pirates! - Sidescrolling fighter with combos, counters, and special moves. Minigore - Isometric horde shooter. Rock Band - Suprisingly fun (although vocals have been reduced to buttons only) with WiFi and local Bluetooth multiplayer. Music Store with DLC on the way. Zenonia - Kind of like Zelda with leveling, skills, quests, and a Good/Bad system. Peggle - Because it's ♥♥♥♥ Peggle. Worms - See Peggle. Substitute "Peggle" with "Worms". Duke Nukem 3D - The controls are a little odd, but you get used to them. Call of Duty: World at War Zombies - Fun FPS/Zombie Defense, WiFi and Bluetooth (Only one level apparently, supposed to be more). Knights Onrush - Defend Your Castle style game with upgrades. Katamari Damacy - A bit of lag from time to time but plays a lot like the console versions. Song Summoner: Encore - Turn-Based Strategy that uses the songs on your device to summon monsters. More with less detail: Black Shades - Colosseum - Inotia 2: A Wanderer of Luone - Monopoly: Worldwide Edition - Steam Wars - Speed Forge Extreme - Stone Wars - Sonic the Hedgehog (Genesis) - Super Monkey Ball 2 - Crystal Defenders And some I haven't gotten to try yet: Command & Conquer - Assassin's Creed (and the sequel) - Need for Speed: Undercover/Shift - The Sims - Max Injury - Dismount |
