PSP. It's two predecessors are also for the PSP, if it matters. Anyways, I'm kinda surprised somebody on drl knows about it.

My friend and me have been playing since the first Monster Hunter Freedom. This one I bought in an instant. If you do play what kind of weapon do you use?

I use mostly Great swords, sometimes a bow or dual swords, rarely long swords. I wear Monoblos S armor and Narga S armor. And what should I get if I want to go online?

By online, do you mean something like Xlink Kai? If so I'd say something around G-rank or the hunter rank below it. Also I don't suppose that you'd have any tips for fighting a Monoblos would you? Hunter rank 4 is scaring me quite a bit especially with the name Kushala Daora being on one of the quests.

Xlink kai online. TipfortheMonoblos: Throw sonic bombs above him when he digs underground, this will make his head stick out of the ground for about 7-10 seconds. Tip2: Stay under him and hit his legs, though stand a little close towards the head. EDIT: Here's some better info: http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/Monoblos_GuidesI guess...

Re: Monster Hunter Freedom Unite!
I played the original Monster Hunter on my PS2. Was okay, but had a lot more potential to be better (it's like they cut production early or something). How good are the PSP versions?

Quite good, they've improved a lot of things since the first game.

Re: Monster Hunter Freedom Unite!
I beat a Fatalis with my friend in HR6 the other day. Now I'm trying to beat the Nargacuga in the Nekote quests, it's a nippy bugger.

In MHFU you can bring a Felyne comrade to follow you around on a quest to help fight monsters and gather items. More monsters, maps, items, equipment, and a new village.
