Battlefield Heroes
Well. I know its a closed beta, but there is a huge possibility you'll receive a beta key So any opinions, thoughts about BFH?

Quote: Players will not fall off the wing should the plane do a barrel roll. YES Upside down sniping from the wing of a plane here I come. Hmm.... Planes being shot down by other planes? Simple solution: Have some gunners hop on the wings. =D

Re: Battlefield Heroes
Well in a dogfight I'd prefer to have extra machine guns and shotguns on my wings than snipers. Though the sheer epicness of a plane barrel rolling with a sniper on the wing with the sniper getting a headshot halfway accross the map would probably warrant some sort of compensation...

Re: Battlefield Heroes
Its very easy to get a beta key, I got one like in a 10 seconds, didn't have to sign up for any waiting line or anything I just found my old,old account on fileplanet and got a key, there are other sites with keys for grabs. Here is list: http://www.battlefield-heroes.com/news/ ... -beta-keysIts not teh bestest game in the world but considering its free (you can pay only for clothes and stuff which have no impact on gameplay, guns are bought by points you earn by playing) its worth trying out. One thing that is irritating me is that I often end up with people who don't play as team (and this game is designed for team play, like soldier healing is more effective with more team mates you heal), everyone wants to be John Rambo, its not fun when some d*ck takes last transport in base just right before your nose and refuses to wait that one, two seconds to take you too. Its just stupid if they want their high scores so much they should play as team or they just will be steamrolled by other team which knows what teamplay is (happened way more times than once). Its not such difficult concept to move around in 2-3 players teams to support each other . Well I suppose I shouldn't be complaining that much as I play as commando and team work isn't as necessary for me, but still... Ps. Knifing people is fun (in game mind you )

Re: Battlefield Heroes
If they made the weapons harder to get, but permanent, this game would be fun.
Also being allowed to change classes would be nice, but it's not required.

Re: Battlefield Heroes
Downloading now. I love the Battlefield series, but the new look... I just don't know. TF2 was awesome at all, but had an entirely different style of play than any of the BF games. I just don't feel like I'll have any more epic rounds where I sit on top of a crane in the middle of the map busting headshot after headshot.
Or I could be wrong and the sniper class is still going to be a skill-based game of stealth and misdirection, in which case... well, we'll see after I play it a bit.

Re: Battlefield Heroes
The machinegunner and soldier are your generic run-and-gun classes, whereas the sniper/stealth is actually a really fun class to play, and if you're good, will reward you as the best player in the game, and if you suck, the worst.
Oh, this is nothing like the other Battlefields.
