The counter-UAV is one of the best things to have if you're flying around on the enemy side with an unsilenced weapon :3

I mean, who uses sentry gun? I would if you didn't have to drop it. Who uses counter-uav? I would if it had a more tangible effect. Dude, you have not played MW2 until you have had 3 sentries in an overlapping pattern holding back 5 players

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
Exactly. I wish it was "get five kills, place" instead of being a guaranteed care package.

That'd be silly. Where would you get it from?

Your back pocket, silly.
I think the whole idea of killstreak rewards is not do much for playability but an anti-troll mechanism. What alpha is saying would do that job much better.

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
Actually, it is to reward players that are good in the game.

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
That's what they want you to think.
Basically they attempt to serve a dual-purpose but hardly ever accomplish either. Don't get me wrong, I love the game.

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
If anything, it's the killstreaks that are trolling.

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
If there was a "Brutality" Warfare 2, there would be no kill streaks at all, and the game would be even cooler without them.

It's actually called barebones and is no fun tbh.

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
I'm going to ride the fence here and say that barebones isn't much fun because there are no fun killstreaks like the emergency airdrop and predator missle or the uav or attack helo, but on the other hand there's no harriers or chopper gunners or ac130s or pavelows etc.
I just think the EMP should have been like a mini-nuke, having a permanent effect.

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
What the ♥♥♥♥ are you (RV) talking about? Killstreaks are to reward you for killing lots of people without dying. They give people with shitty teams a chance to win and they make the game more dynamic by altering the playing field and making objectives change- for example: try really really hard to get 1 more kill for Predator, hunt down the guy while he's controlling his AC130, try not to die to the guy at 24 kills, move so that the harrier is pointing away from you, stay inside, put on a different class, avoid the Sentry Gun...
What is this about trolling?

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
Too bad if you kill the guy in the ac130/chopper gunner, it doesn't actually stop the aircraft.\

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
I'm going to try it at my friend's house before I decide to get it or not. I'm mad they super nerfed quick scoping. Taking out SoH Pro for Snipers was annoying but not the end of the world, but now you don't get ADS accuracy until a quarter of a second after you bring your sight up. And no Snipers kill with a dickshot. At least that's what I'm hearing from Den. Were people really that upset with being killed by quickscopers?
The guns and attachments are looking cool, and the perks (once I saw the pro versions) are looking actually ok.
