Re: Team Fortress Deux
If anyone looks at my TF2 backpack, I keep all my dupes in the fourth page. I'm willing to trade anything in there. Also, crates go in the fifth, but I don't know why you'd want them.

It's to avoid the ability to set up as many idling accounts as you have RAM and CPU power for.

Re: Team Fortress Deux
Well even then you could just buy a starter pack for 99 cents and go premium.
Edit: If anyone has gift wrap I have some stuff I wanna get rid of.

Re: Team Fortress Deux
I play TF2 every so often.
I'm usually a Heavy or Medic, but I'll Engi every now and then.
Freeloader account ftw.

Re: Team Fortress Deux
Yes, but if you buy an item from the store you can choose to add the exact amount of money required for the transaction. I've done it before.

Re: Team Fortress Deux
New update Lasers everywhere This is beautiful
Soldier weapons only
New rocket launcher: LASERS.
Pros:
Flashy new special effects Has five shots instead of four Infinite ammo Still has splash damage Seems to rocket jump you higher? Does reduced damage to buildings Right click charges for three or so seconds then fires all five shots at once for heavy damage, extreme knockback and sets people on fire Charged shots also stun turrets, teleporters and dispensers for four seconds
Cons:
Still reflectable Does reduced damage to buildings Reload time after charge is longer than stun duration on turrets so you can't use this to solo turrets Hitting the turret with a wrench removes the stun? Not 100% sure on this one yet Charge can't be cancelled once started, uses all of your ammo and makes you a sitting duck for a few seconds
It's more for helping your team kill turrets than killing them yourself, the charged knockback is hilarious though if you get it in a group of people
New secondary: Laser pistol!
Pros: Shots pierce enemies without doing reduced damage Long range, doesn't seem to have any spread either Special effects
Cons: Only four shots, and it takes five to kill an enemy soldier from full health Lower potential damage than shotgun (at close range) Reduced damage to buildings (but who used a shotgun on those?)
Plays a lot differently than the shotgun really. It's good in corridors for obvious reasons but I'm not sure if it's better than the shotgun because in those situations you're likely to be at pretty close range anyway

Re: Team Fortress Deux
See, this is bull♥♥♥♥ is what it is. I am all for new weapons, but Soldier already got twice the number of new items that most of the other classes got in the Uber update. And what did Engineer get? Jack ♥♥♥♥. Oh wait, Valve is pulling another sneaky pete with these rockets! Rockets? Sounds like SCIENCE, must be Engineer stuff! Then guess what, MORE ♥♥♥♥ SOLDIER WEAPONS. AND THESE ARE PRETTY GODDAMN GOOD ONES TOO.

Did you ever think maybe you could just CRAFT the set? Are you really buying stuff in TF2?

Re: Team Fortress Deux
Apparently you can craft it from the Black Box or Battalion's Backup. The launcher and the pistol, respectively.
If you want to complain about items, look to the Demoman, Engineer or Medic. The Demoman has been turned some kind of knight with no emphasis on explosives. The Engineer has one primary, one secondary and three melee (of which only one is interesting or unique). The Medic has got nothing interesting, unique or class-changing.
