Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
That's weird, right and left clicking from the favourites menu (and the magic menu, actually) has always worked for me. I think spells do prioritise the left hand and weapons the right though, if I press a hotkey it always puts a spell on the left and a weapon on the right and will only replace the other if I press it twice.

So smithing. It's actually kinda fun.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
My problem with smithing is that you don't get enough points for making the next armour tier by crafting and fully upgrading your current one so you have to grind it. Metal is hardly hard to come by but it's still time sitting pressing buttons repeatedly. Why is there no option to craft multiples? I don't want to press yes 22 times ):

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I got a good tip from a friend, just spam [metal] daggers. They give you a decent amount of xp for just one bar and one leather strip. Sure it takes spamming enter + click but hey. I figure I'll work up to the metal after steel and then reequip myself, I've been using the same Ancient Nordic Sword since level 2 (I got to 14 this morning before I had to go to work).

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I has full superior steel armour set + superior steel mace and war axe. Also, superior imperial bow and superior steel shield. ♥♥♥♥ heavy melee soldier. Also, just killed my first Frost Troll using a combination of shoting, battle cry and flames.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I'm going a tad bit slower than you all due to computer being ♥♥♥♥ etc. Sometimes framerate is a solid 30 FPS but it tends to plummet in wide open spaces with lots of detailing to about 15, and inside caves or dungeons with lots of torches and fancy dynamic lighting effects, hogawdwat.
Think I'm level 6. Fixing to go the dragon for the storyline quest right after you retrieve the Dragonstone. Fun stuff.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I did some sidequests before retrieving the dragonstone so I think I'm level something-around-10.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I notice some items seem to "disapper" model wise yet i have to move back for it to appear again and remember where it is to pick it up. Ditto happens to the Dragon once i killed it and it turned into bones it it just was invisible ._." and some annoyance with the equiping, since i'm forced to equip a sword and de-equip it if i want to change the magic in my right hand. as annoying it is. other than just a few minor not insta game breaking things the game is very good.

Dual-wielding healing is a pretty fast way to recover from a fight.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
i stuck with using the WASD and arrow keys + E or enter to do stuff but only use the mouse to click ok. but really the menu are quite shoddy.
as well as the fact you cannot change the settings INGAME

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Is it me or is it impossible to left-click in the favorites menu? You can't assign anything to the right hand, just two-handed weapons or one-handed weapons and spells to the left hand with right mouse and enter.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Blugh. 29 hours played, but I finally beat Alduin.
The ending was kinda anti-climactic with me just standing in a corner spamming fireballs.
The Winterhold questline was the most rewarding one so far, though.
