Re: Game Nostalgia Thread
I effing loved scorched, there's a really fun clone on XBOX arcade. It's called Death Tank, and the only difference is the real-time gameplay. Thank you so much for the link. I still dig it up and play it from time to time. I loved how setting up a row of 10 Big Berthas was more energy efficient than building a single Vulcan. It was more fun too, since the shots were pretty randomly placed. Always had a hard time getting user-made mods to work though.

Age of Empires, the original. ...When I run it nowadays, all it does is reduced my resolution to 240x120 and has a black screen with my 'loading' mouse pointer.

That said, I played some Zelda on my gameboy colour last night, and did the trading sidequest in Oracle of Ages. Very much worth it.

I had Oracle of Seasons. Remember the animals? I loved my kangaroo, he pwned many of my foes.

Hahah, good old Ricky. I preferred Moosh overall though, for the button mashing craziness of his jumping puzzles. I had both, for the record. I was so mad when I realised you don't get a code after 100%ing both games on a hero's code...

http://www.mobygames.com/game/universal-warrior/http://www.mobygames.com/game/universal-warrior/screenshotsI used to play this game a lot. Buy/sell equipment, compete in arenas, bet on your robo, insure it, go to blackmarket, learn blackmarket goods are outside the policy, go bankrupt, buy second hand repair and go, etc... That was in the 90s.

Re: Game Nostalgia Thread
I especially like the Monster Rancher series, more or so 1 and 2. 3 was too darn easy, and you could only get 4 moves. 2 was the best, seriously, there were like 20 combinations for each monster.

Re: Game Nostalgia Thread
This would be the only game I'd play on the N64 back in the day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTGxCGwm330Extreme G, love the music, designs, general atmosphere... Extreme G 2 Never really hit well with me. Damn, when Lego's Roboriders came out, this only made me play Extreme G more.
