Post Re: Minecraft Infdev succession
I hate to be a noob here, but I'm not quite sure how this works, and I also have a few questions. I don't want to take a turn and find out I can't use it.
Do you need to buy the game (MC Indev) to use it?
Is it Windows only?
Does it require any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with any kind of decompilers/compilers?

If the answers to these questions is no, then count me in.

1. Yes, but it's very affordable at $15 USD/ €9.95 Euro
2. No, it's a browser game, so as long as you can use Java in your browser then you're golden. Try out the demo and if you can play that you're set.
3. Not unless you want to do map editing outside of the game.

Actually, I have some things I want to do to it, so if you guys could leave it alone for right now, that would be great.

According to my cell phone, it's 11.88 in US Dollars. And no, I don't have ANYTHING better to do.

Alright! Turn done.
I have:
  • Filled another large chest with bread.
  • Built an awesome palisade, and extended a path from the spawn to it.
  • Built an awesome house behind said palisade, with 3 large chests, 4 furnaces, and 2 crafting benches.
  • Filled one chest with assorted resources, mainly sticks, stone, and half blocks.
  • Filled another chest with 6 of every tool, plus an additional 24 pickaxes. All are stone.
  • Filled a final chest with odds and ends.
  • Built an epic crypt behind said house, and built myself an awesome tomb within it.

So yeah. To get to the palisade, just follow the path on the right coming out of the spawn.
Feel free to build your own tombs within the crypt, and we'll see if we can't get some haunting going down.

Edit:
Ahem. I may have forgotten something rather vital.

Hmm.

Not sure whether to:
A: Expand infrastructure (roads, mines, farms)
B: Expand 'home base' (which I am hereby declaring to be that wooden fort with crypt in the rear)
C: Do something cool
D: Be a total ♥♥♥♥ and sabotage everything.

My vote would be B, naturally.
But infrastructure is always fun too.

Duh, can you sign me up for another slot?

That sounds like a good idea, in which case MLC will go next, then myself.
