Re: Discussion: best RTS game. Although I do love Company of heroes a lot. There's something i just really like about age of empires. It's not as good as CoH, but I love how me and my brothers army (over LAN on the demo) could go around without meeting each other for ages. And almost co-existing, but then our empires became so big we were almost building in each others cities.
But Warcraft and Starcraft still best age of empires.

Re: Discussion: best RTS game. The only rts games I've played much of are Rise of Nations and Rise of Legends.
I liked nations quite a bit, but didn't care for legends.
I need to give the rts genre as a whole a chance sometime.

Wins my 3,990-ish total hours logged on Xfire by 400 or so. (Second goes to Gmod) If Spore's civ stage were as indepth as it was in the original tech demo, it'd easily take the cake. But no, they oversaturated it.
