Well I thought I did quite a bit of research in regards to PS3 graphics versus X360 graphics.

It turns out, I believe) that PS3 is harder to create games for - and even when you get a great game, it's harder to make absolutely full use of the graphics in it.

That said, I've always thought PS3 was directed at roleplayers and squeenix guys and the X360 was directed at all the other gamers.

PS3 is more expensive too, which is why I have an X360. But I want a PS3, so yeah.

Yeah, it's harder to design a game that makes use of the PS3's rather unique processor, but when you do, it has a much higher performance potential than a game running on 360. Some people confuse the 360 as having "better" graphics by comparing cross-platform titles, but these titles often don't make full use of the PS3's potential because it wouldn't be worth it for the devs to go through the effort and cost of optimizing the game to run on PS3.

I don't think the PS3 is directed particularly at RPGs at all. It's directed at more or less the exact same audience as the 360, minus the gamer demographic of screaming apes who get drunk on Mountain Dew and pull all-nighters playing Gears of War. We don't like their kind.

Also the price difference now is I think only $50 or so.

Oh, I ♥♥♥♥' LOVED the commercial announcing the $250 pricetag. Here in the US at least, it's just a bunch of gaming icons talking about how great Michael (some average Joe gamer) is, it was great though, had Kratos, Nathan Drake, Isaac Clark, and plenty of others.

This one? Yeah, pretty epic.

I'm waiting for prices to drop here to buy one. Shipping prices and taxes and plenty other ♥♥♥♥ makes it pretty expensive.

XBox is for 8 year olds who cry when their XBox gets taken away and fratboys who don't know there are games besides Halo.

PS3 is for people with some goddamn class.

Xbox is for people who prefer Xbox.
PS3 is for people who prefer PS3.
People like what they want for whatever reasons they do, and if you're generous enough to actually let them express their opinions, then this is one of which that they probably would like to share.
In layman's terms:
Just let people do whatever the ♥♥♥♥ they want.

XBox is for people who were too poor to get a PS3 when it first came out, like myself. Frowny face.

...Or for people who would rather get an Xbox 360, versus a PS3.

I want a PS3 so badly. Mainly because all my friends have one and they all play online and I feel damn excluded.

I don't take any offence when I get labelled as an 'Xbox guy' cos I want a PS3 anyway.

I purchased the First Strike and Resurrection DLC for Black Ops, and COD: World at War, along with all the map packs for it.

I hit Prestige once, and now I'm Level 32, second prestige.
My record for Zombies is Level 40 on Der Riese.
I'm hoping to get MW3 sometime soon.

Anyways I need to see a man about fixing my ♥♥♥♥ up modded PS3. Right now it's just a large black waste of space.

Guys, my PS3 is broken. I was watching a DVD on it, and it just froze and started getting these weird rainbow lines. My friend told me it's "Artifacting", it would work for small amounts of time before messing up. More recently, it will freeze upon startup, and weird green flashing circles will appear.

Is this a known problem, and will my warranty cover it? I purchased it online, so how can I return it?
Can it be fixed or replaced without losing all my game data?
