Ehh, not a major enough update to care. In a month, then I'll update.

Started a game with 42 dogs. This'll be good.

And slow. Methinks this game takes a little bit more for pathfinding than last time, so my 77 cat embark used to be slow, but now it's unplayable. Like, less than one fps...

Why would you even want to bring along 77 cats?

Dogs are now dozens of meals each. Cats are similar. This is without selective breeding.

All we need now is to be able to brew beer on cats...

Re: Dwarf Fortress - It's about time there's a thread
I started my fort next to a road made of obsidian.
I built it half way on the road, and DECONSTRUCTED THE ROAD...
I'm using all the obsidian to build a tower... and I'm also doing the 'deconstruct depot' crap too... I'm stockpiling all the items, and I'm using the crapton of copper and silver I keep finding, to mint coins... I'm hoarding them all in a room... When I'm close to 'the end'
I'm going to wall it off in a way thats a pit you drop in, and then another 'pit' to drop out... so I can go loot it all in adventure mode without much fear of it being stolen.
so far I'm at about 10,000 copper... I also have an artifact 'crown'... so... that might be... interesting?
Still can't get farming to work which is sad... I always put farming before blacksmithing...

miles, surely there's some water somewhere? also aboveground farming doesn't need irrigation.
