With the magic of photoshop, you can see the remnants of my first base complete with a light tower to guide me back to it.

Re: Duh102's Minecraft server
So, um, i'm trying to play the game but every couple of seconds it goes from 60 fps to freeze. any idea why? i'm using chrome, so that might be a reason, and i turned all the quality down but that doesn't help because its still running at a ridiculously good speed until it freezes for a couple... any ideas?

Re: Duh102's Minecraft server
I have absolutely no clue.
I click on DUH's link, then it goes to the game, then I get five seconds the FREEZE, then five seconds the FREEZE, and it's not graphical either...

Huh.... I don't get any problems on that, so, I dunno man. I DO get something like that on indev though.

Re: Duh102's Minecraft server
I get the exact same thing in Chrome. I always play MineCraft in IE and it seems to solve the problem (*shakes fist at IE*)

Re: Duh102's Minecraft server
Duh Testing has been renamed to MinerDPP and is upgraded to svn616. According to the release notes it's quite stable and some more features are available, such as restoration of an area from a backup file instead of restoring the entire map. Quite fancy.
If any of you follow the Minecraft forums you will know of Mynecraft, a modification of Myne, which is a stripped-down release of the same software that The Archives runs. I'm currently in the private testing phase of Mynecraft and it is very unstable. Quite unfit for even testing server status. After some unspecified period of time or amount of activity the server will simply crash. As soon as MinerCPP gains multiple world support, physics, and portals, it will be both feature superior and stability superior, even though it is already stability superior.

alphagamer774 wrote: does anybody ever go on this server anymore? it's always empty... Well I'm on it for about 20 min average a day, and there isn't anyone there when I play either, we just need everyone to just go online at aproximatly the same time and have some fun together. alphagamer774 wrote: So, um, i'm trying to play the game but every couple of seconds it goes from 60 fps to freeze. any idea why? i'm using chrome, so that might be a reason, and i turned all the quality down but that doesn't help because its still running at a ridiculously good speed until it freezes for a couple... any ideas? Not having any of those things at all, using chrome, on all 3 computers that I've played the game on. So it isn't chrome, yet I have no clue what it would be.

EDIT: I'm online right now, so if anybody wants to come they're free to join, and i'll probably stay online all day
