I never take time into account.
But I suppose he didn't mean that, right?

Re: WH40k discussion
Heh, thanks. But nah, I'm not that good yet. My blending skills, for example, are nonexistent, so I cover it all up with double-washed drybrushes. Plus, yeah, I'm p damn slow at painting, mostly because I tend to keep adding new layers to my basecoat until it's as solid as it gets.

Areku, considering you started like this: Areku wrote: Boy oh boy, I do suck at this. However, I can't help but feel kind of proud. Should I go see a doctor or something? And then you paint like this: Areku wrote: Slowly, slowly getting better. How many models did you paint in between? Can you take pics of your models to see your evolution?

We should show this to anybody who's new to painting.

That's why Areku is my IRC mentor and motivator. He'll guide me to great things.

Re: WH40k discussion
This oughta be my... eighteenth model, I think. Wasn't joking when I said I'm a slow painter.
And I suppose I can take a pic of all my models side by side, if you want me to. Will be back in a jiffy.
Also heh, please, I'm not that good. I just take pictures right.

Re: WH40k discussion
Okay, here are all of the models I could find. Please excuse the terribly sloppy image quality, my camera is not cooperating and I'm a bit short on time.

Oh God, so much eye candy!
Are they placed in painting order?
And dude, that beakie marine looks gorgeous. That, or the shot was very good.
