Which unit is that huge thing of the Chaos?

I'm not sure I've seen one like it before.

It's a chaos dreadnought. It's just a fancy new model that looks gorgeous.

Daemon brute engine or something iirc. Apparently back in the day the chaos dreadnoughts were called that way and had some awesome rules.

Brutal mini, I'll tell you that. A guy I know is getting the box, so I'm going to "persuade" him into selling that thing to me, maybe even the chosen too.

My first ever wh40k miniature. Areku provided me with instructions.
Still half-finished, though. Probably gonna finish it tomorrow.

So, uh, the Chinese kind of started bootlegging resin miniatures at ridiculous prices and forgeworld/GW can't do ♥♥♥♥ about it.

Apparently GW sent them some molds to start out a factory in china, but the deal fell through. The Chinese being who they are just started selling stuff on their own with copies of the "official" molds.

Not too bad. You still need to thin your paints, and don't be afraid to go back and cover up mistakes.

Quite reasonable Natts. Thinning paints isn't really that necessary, as long as you just don't have a drip of paint on your brush.
Take your time and get better.

so much want

EDIT: That said, you can bet your ass that these Chinese guys have better casts than forgeworld themselves. Oh the horror stories of bubbles that completely separate a barrel in two. Or the awful warping of the bottom of my macharius tank.

EDIT:

Also Natti, it looks pretty good. I thought it would end up worse, but it went pretty good.
Specially the boltgun, I liked how it turned out.

Oh man that model is sweet!

And I specially loved the Stormtrooper ones. In fact, I liked them more than the titan itself :$
